This was a really good restaurant. Everyone was really friendly. I had a croissant bacon, egg, cheese sandwich, but added avocado. The bacon was cooked to perfection, and the scrambled eggs were soft and yummy! Thanks for a great breakfast to send me on my way!
Great food and service! I loved my Tucumcari Mountain Taters.
Having a nice breakfast on a Route 66 restaurant was good.
Food was delicious, decor takes you right back to the hey day of Route 66 travel. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick. Highly recommend!
I am a big guy and I love my steak and I have to admit their steak and eggs breakfast tasted like I made it at home on my backyard fire. Hash brown spots fantastic and the service was with a smile. Deborah was great. Next time we go through tucumcari New Mexico we will definitely stop and enjoy ourselves again
Talked with owner very nice, newly reopened and a really good pit stop. Will give it a another chance to get avocado on the the burger.
Friendly staff food very tasty great prices
New owners, Todd & Donna, have $$$ revamped the old (Dennys) Kix building and made it personable & friendly service and a welcome spot for hungry families. My son says the pancakes are the BEST he's ever had! I love their chorizo and breakfast quesadillas with green Chile. Baker Dave does an amazing job of creating pies, muffins, and cake! They offer barista style coffee to go with baked goodies. Don't forget to make a trip to Kix on 66!
Outstanding customer service and great food. Very very pet friendly. A must and prices outstanding
It was one of the best places we have on our entire trip from Illinois to Arizona! Waitress was the best working with me on Gutenberg free options, food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxing. Best way to start Cinco de Maya!!!
Great food, very friendly staff and good prices. Highly recommend!
I’ve eaten there several times in the last 3 weeks and hasn’t disappointed me yet. Very clean place and atmosphere is great..
Go here, sit at the counter, and enjoy the rowdiness of an old fashioned diner and the passionate ol guy running the show 100 miles a minute. Food was great.
Nothing fancy but it's easy to pretend you are on a cross country road trip back in the fifties. Friendly staff and owner, and good food served quickly
Food is decent but they can't never put everything someone pay for in the bag each time I order from them something is missing it's annoying then they act like they can't send someone to drop off the item they forgot to put in the bag, making the people who paid go have to pick it up and then let all their food get cold. It's not that hard to get people stuff right especially when they spending money on it
Alot of servers, still was slow and food was not hot. No signage so you might miss it.
4/19/23. What a wonderful Route 66 experience! This place is a great example of an original Route 66 restaurant that has been fully revamped to look, smell, and feel brand new again. The food I ate looked and tasted excellent. You can tell everything is made from scratch with quality food. Thanks Kix On 66!
Met Todd & Donna the owners. They & their staff were working hard to seat people. We were here at noon. Big rush. Young lad brought us our beverages. The food was hot and based on how busy the kitchen was,our food came in a reasonable amount of time. Had pancake platter with homemade sausage & over easy eggs. It looked like there were 4 working the grill, prep, etc. David ,in charge of the kitchen had orders coming out real fast.well organized. Todd told me the man in the whites was 83 and kept up with the young ones. He worked here back when it was a Denny's in 50's. YES we would come back.
Everything you'd want in a Route 66 diner plus a most excellent milkshake and delicious homemade biscuits and gravy with the fluffiest, tallest biscuit I've ever had -outside of my grandma's own kitchen
Everything about Kix has improved under new ownership, the food the vibe, everything is amazing. Thank you for an amazing lunch!
