i asked for over hard eggs with no yolk. this is what they gave me😭😂 the customer service was terrible. the old waitress was so rude and literally rushed us while we ordered.
they weren’t welcoming or friendly at all. we literally had to get ourselves comfortable pretty much. asked twice for a high chair ended up looking around and getting it myself, it was dirty asked for it to be wiped down and was met with attitude. when i ordered i asked for Over hard eggs and specified i don’t want any yoke, when i got my eggs they had yoke so i asked for my eggs to be made again and she said “that’s just how i put it in well done” and came back and asked me “do you just want the egg whites then?” she brought us our food with out our drinks and then when we asked for them she didn’t even know the drinks we ordered. no apology ever not once just “i’m just the waiter i don’t knowww” LITERALLY lol. i’m never one to complain but it was terrible customer service i wished we would have went to Mcdonald’s.

Wow! Been to eat here many times before, and never have I seen such disrespect from the hostess and busser.. a lady was standing in line ahead of us, and when she asked if she could finally be seated in an open yet dirty table (after having being declined a buzzer just like we were), she was told if she wanted to sit down she could bus the dirty table herself! Such a shame to say I am from this town and to see such disrespect from locals towards tourists who have been waiting more than 20 minutes. She went about bussing the table and when we were asked next if we would like a buzzer, we declined and went somewhere else (Joseph's: good food excellent service; aka we didn't have to bus our own table). Later on after the meal we saw the unfortunate lady who had bussed her own table at Silver Moon and offered our condolences.. glad she came to the next best place in town after being declined service, even though she had bussed a table and all ....
Don't even think about stopping at this place to eat. Came in from out of town, and asked the extremely rude lady at the counter if I could place a to go order. A rude answer NO. Not going to happen. I just left. I couldn't believe her rude behavior. She was rude to another customer before me. She needs a lesson in customer service. Should be zero stars.
It was late, we were hungry. The menu looked really good. My daughter and I split two entrées. One was a little underwhelming, the other was good. Service was OK, no complaints. Neat old restaurant.
We always look for little diamonds and this place was perfect! The food and service was very good, thank you Sydney.
Took FOREVER for the food to arrive...but once it did, it was tasty. Staff was friendly enough. Prices were reasonable. I'd go back.
Very busy place but service was quick. Fajita chicken salad had lots of chicken and was very large with fresh vegetables.
We are not real picky people but the pasta dish my wife got was terrible. I think it is really a Mexican place trying to pretend it can do both American and Mexican.
I quite enjoyed the Santa Fe enchiladas. My wife had the regular enchiladas with beef, and the posole was different from what I make, but overall, they were very good. The chips and salsa (medium to hot) were fresh, especially the chips they were still warm. Good atmosphere, clean bathrooms, and the waitress were very attentive. Next time, we will try something else just to see if at least more of the food is as good as these plates. Very reasonable prices, and just a good place to stop, browse, shop, and eat. We did enjoy the place and employees. Update, 5/08/2023, 1st meal cheese burger it was good. 2nd, the chicken fried steak was very greasy under the cream gravy, and the green beans were dry and wilted, 3rd burger was good with fries, 4th the tortilla soup had two 1" × 1" pieces of chicken in a large bowl no strips of tortilla and maybe a few kernel of corn at the bottom, and lastly the ground beef in the taco salad was tasteless as if it was boiled with no seasonings. Overall, order burgers if you're hungry, and good luck with the rest. Happy travels, everyone!
We had stopped in here while travelling along route 66. The Tacos were amazing and all the staff were incredibly friendly. I would definitely be back again if passing through.
We arrived at peak dinner time. The wait time was 35 mins. It was well worth the wait. Once seated, the service was very prompt. Salsa and chips were immediately sat on the table. We had chicken fajitas and enchiladas with beans and rice. Both dishes were delicious. They also have homemade fudge at register when paying bill. Grab some to go !
Soooo delicious! And they have healthier choices, too. We had medicine that limited our choices and waitress was so helpful in choosing something delicious! Food was amazing and waitress (sorry didn't get name) was super nice and friendly....will definitely be going back. ❤❤❤
After leaving Chicos for lack of any service, we ate fajitas at Silver Moon. Our waitress was cheerful, fast, and efficient. She kept my tea glass full and suggested a good dessert dish. My wife and i liked thos place so much, we ate breakfast there next morning!
Very busy and slow. Food was good and our waitress was excellent. The crowd was a little more than they could handle. Funky unique restaurant with a good gift shop attached.
Very convenient location. Close to hotels and plenty of parking. Descent food and good prices. They have a nice little gift shop as well. Don't recommend buying the mugs as the decals came off the first time we washed in the dishwasher and didn't say not dishwasher or microwave safe.
Great café. Food was delicious, staff was friendly & personable, and great atmosphere. Love finding places like this while traveling!
The food was probably average at best but it was a busy evening for them so will give them the benefit of a doubt. However, the hostess or whatever her position is, leaves a lot of room for improvement. Zero customer service skills, on the edge of being rude. She needs to realize that Santa Rosa is a small town but there are other places to go and next time I will. The way she spoke to some of the customers was disrespectful and in an age when the younger generation receives so much bad PR for their attitudes, here is a senior setting a very poor example for everyone.
My husband and I stopped there for what we thought would be a hearty breakfast en route to our next destination. We waited about 5 minutes to place our order, finally with that done, after waiting a total of about 40 minutes we made the decision to leave. It was a hard one because choices are slim when traveling wide open spaces but it had to be done. They just didn't ever relay communication as to when our food was going to be ready, especially because it was taking extremely long. Plan wisely, don't stop here if you have a choice.
