The service is good, environment is cozy. Unfortunately, the food is not. Small portion, just Okay quality. We ordered four tapas and paella classica. I mean all of them are just okay. We did not order salad, maybe that’s better?

Excellent food. Cava, kale salad. Baguette and a potato egg torte.

Service Excellent. Food is mediocre. Had the eggplant--inedible. Ribs tasted reheated and mealy. Spanish tortilla pretty good needed more flavor. I would go back to try different plates though.

Absolutely amazing all around. The plates are small, which is why they are called TAPAS... and also why I went there. The service was warm, attentive and fast. The atmosphere was a bit warm temperature wise, but we are in the desert. Seeing bad reviews on this place is mind boggling....I am definitely going back again and again bc it was perfect.

Great tapas. They squeezed us in last minute and made it work- which we really appreciated. The food was great and diverse. Server made a great wine suggestion as we aren’t particularly familiar with Spanish wine. All in all- wonderful dinner and incredible dessert. Would definitely stop here again were we in Santa Fe.

Had dinner here on Mar 29, 2023. Had some of the best food I've ever eaten - ever. The chefs here know their craft. Every item was top notch and our waiter accurately described them. Highly recommended. We'll return.

Best food in Santa Fe. If the server suggests something? Order it. They suggest an add on? Do it. The absolute best croquettas we’ve had. And the BEST shrimp plus sauce I’ve tasted - and listen to the server when they say order a baguette to sop up the sauce. Do the desserts. Do the wine. Honestly such a great find!

The paella is one of the best I’ve had in years (including Madrid). Friendly staff, very good wine selection.

Good food but a bit pricey. Paella classica is delicious but too salty. Service is good.

A friend who had stayed in Santa Fe previously gave us the name of several restaurants to try including La Boca and Santacafe. We went to La Boca the first night we were there and were very impressed. Seating is European style where your table is fairly close to other diners but you can’t really hear their conversations. Our waiter was quite helpful in selecting Spanish wines which compared to the typical CA/WA wines we have at home. We ordered the tasting menu which included scallops, halibut and tenderloin and the sautéed shrimp and yellowfin tuna entrees from the tapas menu. All were extremely flavorful and excellently prepared. I also recommend the chocolate cake with the small pecan mousse desert. Definite 5/5 and plan on returning the next time we are in Santa Fe.

Stoked to finally try this place. Food and service was awesome. I wanted a Bamboo cocktail. A classic Spanish, Sherry martini style cocktail that I’d missed for years. They said they couldn’t make it because it wasn’t on the menu even though they had the ingredients. They let us have gin and sodas instead, even though that wasn’t on the menu either. I’ll definitely be back, but I’ve never been to an establishment that refused to make a simple cocktail even though they had the ingredients right behind the bar I was seated at.

Lovely restaurant. The staff are very kind and knowledgeable. The food is fantastic. The wine list is also delicious. The only draw backs are that the space is very tight. I do recommend making reservations because they are very busy. Lastly, they are family friendly because they have high chairs but they do not have a changing table in their restroom which made things difficult for us when we went with our daughter. If you don’t have children it is no problem, obviously. :) Highly recommend.

We have come to La Boca for many years and have always loved the food, service, and experience! We took our two young girls there with us for the first time for dinner this past Sunday night, and as a family had yet another memorable night. Food amazing! Service impeccable! Drinks delicious! Christine was a real gem! ❤️🥂🍽

I always have a great experience at LA Boca. I am on the Whole30 diet and they found items on their menu that fit my needs and modified one to make it non-dairy. Try the mussels. They are out of this world.
