Great coffee, great bagels, great breakfast burritos, and there's a bush outside with birds in it. What else can a person hope for?
A little disappointed. We got two lavender honey lattes. Came out to $17 with $2 tip that’s fine but seems extremely expensive for two drinks. I asked for my drinks to be made xtra hot. I drove off from the drive thru and had a drink and my drink was luke warm almost cold. They both were. The line was excessively long and I also waited in line forever. I just didn’t have the time to get back in line to get my drink heated. I would expect paying that much that they would at least pay attention to what the customer is asking for. Not a great experience and a waste of money and time.
Java Joe's has better than good coffee, good bakery, and very good breakfast burritos. Other places could take a lesson in how to offer a decent burrito for a reasonable price. The folks here are nice and hard working. The electric outlets need a bit of attention. If you are going to provide a place to plug in, it should be accessible and not worn out.
Great great coffee and the chai ginger latte the bomb
Best coffee in Santa Fe!
This place is a joke. There were three cars in front of me and it took 18 minutes for me to have my order (croissant and a plain coffee) in my hand. The food and coffee are totally bleh. Not even as good as something you could get at starbucks with much less of a wait. I was patient because I figured they were probably severely understaffed, then I pull up to the window to find four different employees working behind the counter. The baristas are basically all rude, entitled white women who think they automatically deserve a tip for doing essentially what a mcdonalds employee does. The prices are ridiculously high and instead of politely allowing the customers to tip how they see fit, the girl at the window just swipes your credit card then asks "would you like to leave one, two or three dollars?". Why would I tip you anything for making terrible food that takes all day to make? Completely ridiculous. Pay your employees properly so they don't have to act as if they're dying of hunger. We're seeing this all over Santa Fe these days. Restaurant owners that are too cheap to give their workers a living wage, and the workers being forced to use these terrible point of sale systems that allow the customer no privacy or determination over what they tip.
Absolutely love the chi tea
All I have to say is awesome place to relax and have a good cup of coffee.. Way better than Starbucks..
Excellent coffee. I always prefer smaller companies like this over Starbucks, but this little gem is very high up on my list.
Yummy drinks, busy with customers, cool music. Overall nice vibe and you feel good supporting local.
I have always had a good experience but today the bacon burrito was off. The top half was soo hard not eatible and the bottom soggy. You could see the gluten on the tortilla. Sorry hard to describe. Just wanted to let you know since this only time. And Staff always great !!
Great local coffee place. Staff are absolutely lovely!
Always excellent customer service. Coffee is ok. Strange Drive thru that backs up into parking lot. I usually stop by when I'm in the area.
Got drive through cappuccinos on our road trip out to Colorado. Yummy coffee!
I love this place. Haven’t gone wrong with a beverage.
Great coffee and friendly atmosphere with local art. The only downside is the burritos end up being over cooked in the microwave! I still eat here over nearby competitors for bfast burritos.
Friendly staff. Delicious Ginger Chai tea.
Great little place to have coffee or in my case Chi tea.... very friendly place...
Delicious. Consistently. Updating my review, I was just accused of stealing basically, because they got my order wrong. At the drive-thru window I placed an order for caramel macchiato, let them know I wanted soy, they asked me if I wanted it hot and I said yes. When I was handed my drink I asked if it was soy and the person I had not previously interacted with said no, it's not soy, let me remake it. Then remade it, but not before telling me that it cost extra to make soy so I need to tell them that in the future. I let them know I've been coming here for years, that I absolutely said soy, I know it costs extra because it always has, and they blamed me again even while saying "I just made what's written on the cup and next time you need to pay more" And then when I asked for a sleeve for my hot drink, and spoke up louder to ask a follow-up question,, the three people I could see in the window turnef their back on me and ignored me until I left. I don't understand why I was treated like that.
This is a cozy little shop to meet for a quick bite and share a coffee or tea with a friend. We enjoyed great Cream cheese Bagels and delicious hot Chai lattes!!
