I’ve been to this cafe twice and was so impressed with the beautiful ambiance. The first time I ordered empanadas and chai tea. The food was good for the most part except they put cayenne in my chai, which ruined it. Also, the service was very slow. Second time I ordered the Baca Bowl and ginger turmeric tea. The tea was decent but the vegetable bowl was not served in a bowl and wouldn’t have satisfied a child. It had a few zucchini and some raw red peppers and maybe a 1/2 cup of rice. Not worth the $13.75 I paid. When we complained to the waiter he did nothing. The service was definitely lacking and made for an unsatisfying lunch.

Love the atmosphere! Very hip, beautiful plants, fountain, seating, etc. Delicious Argentinian food! Loved the empanadas and the dulce de leche latte. Their dulce de leche cheesecake was also incredible. Would definitely go back!

Stopped here on a whim one Saturday morning after cars and coffee and was HELLA impressed with everything. The location? DOPE. Unmatched vibes. The food? BUSSIN. I got the breakfast empanada, and that mf was jam packed with eggs, cheese, and shmeats. The drank? REFRESHING. I got the lavender lemonade and you could tell those lemons were squeezed by the hands of an angel. This establishment is the perfect place for a date, and I guarantee that you'll go from being a side piece to asking for their hand in marriage lickity split. So get your buns over to Cafecito asap, you will not be disappointed!

This chic Argentinian place offers fresh drinks, hot coffee and tea. A slight bland-ness accompanies a great balance of traditional sazón. Our Menu: • Special- perfectly cooked cubed potatoes make the base for a crispy breaded-chicken “empanizada” with sunny side up eggs that provide a lava-like sauce when the yolk is cut. 8.5/10 • Breakfast Empanada- Chorizo, bacon, great cheese and a sturdy amount of scrambled eggs stuff the almost-undercooked and bland-ish empanada. Paired with a green mix, cucumber and tomato slices and two very friendly green sauces. 7.5/10 Drinks: •Peach tea- a well-balanced and aromatic hot tea, paired with lime and honey make a beautiful sweetness that is not overpowering. 9/10 •Dirty Chai Latte- Originally a traditional chai with a shot of espresso. Garnished with what I’ll confess, a little too much cinnamon and spices. Ordered with Almond milk, the spices missed the harmonious and elegant taste of a traditional chai. 4/10 Dessert: •Lemon Poppyseed bread- not too heavy on the taste and light enough to not feel overly full. A fun taste experience with moist, yet textured bread and poppyseed. 8.5/10 Price: around $50 for the above. This is a detailed review of a great spot. Friendly staff, great outdoor seating with just the right amount of shade and a fountain melody to tie up the atmosphere. I personally enjoy Indian cuisine so I am partial to a well blend of spices. In sum, I recommend to anyone who’s looking for a brunch spot. It’s really great! And friendly to all pallets.

Empanadas argentinas y alfajores de maicena! If you don't know what I am talking about, find out, you won't regret it. Hey if we all vote for live music, say an open 🎤 maybe they would set it up... then again, we would never leave! 🙃

It has a beautiful inside area, with plants (probably from local plant place - Chlorophyll). It's bright and amazing. Wonderful staff and the food is out of this world. Try all the empanadas, try the coffee, everything is exquisite

Love love love this place. Usually when a place is packed I find the wait and fluster of impatience too overwhelming to enjoy a meal, but the staff was exceptional and gracious, checking in on us regularly, smiling and welcoming despite our huge double stroller blocking their entry way. They made us feel welcome and everyone included the patrons were kind and made our awkward size and giant kid cargo welcome. Then there was the food. My husband is Argentinian and he loved every morsel. The empanadas to the steak! The ambiance is wonderful and garden feeling. The owner was amazing and chatted us up for quite a while even after they had closed. We are in love. My entire family grandparents to siblings are regulars now. Well down cafecito!! Brava!! Also absolutely must recommend and gush about the actual authentic Dulce de Leche!! Gracias, Che, por haber hecho un lugar tan lindo con el sabor de casa.

Good food and trendy atmosphere. Maybe even too trendy? But that’s up to you. Coffee was good, empanadas were good, granola/yogurt bowl was good. Service was quick, polite and friendly. Would definitely swing by here again if in Santa Fe.

Cafecito has the best espresso I’ve had in NM. I went for the affogatos (ice cream with espresso, brilliant, one of my favorite things of all time). Otherwise, the place is cute and the food delicious. Such a great spot!

Wonderful experience here. Nice place to sit indoors or outdoors (there in March), pleasant staff, and yummy empanadas. More importantly, for us anyway, this was a very kid friendly AND parent friendly menu without having to rely the tired standards of French fries, nuggets, and grilled cheese for kids.

Wow! A friend introduced me to this unique and quaint restaurant. Excellent place for breakfast! I highly recommend, love the unusual decor (some tables having a swing for a seat!). I ordered the breakfast empanada! DELICIOUS! 😁 looking forward to more visits to explore the menu

Cafecito is hands down one of my favorite spots in Santa Fe. The staff are always friendly, and the food is delicious. Try the sampler of empanadas! This place is great for a quick lunch away from work.
