We were celebrating my birthday and after eating at cattle baron's, my family decided to go there for some sweet eats, first time to go there as we live in another town, it was amazing, everything was awesome And the service was great. Definitely going back!

This place was perfect! We had the Chili Relleno Omelette and Placitas with french toast. Then some fresh o.j. And a lil Vodka Sunrise. Cool place and the people were super nice. We will be going again on this trip!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. The eggs Benedict was disgusting and when I didn’t eat it I was offered something else and charged for it. When I mentioned it, the manager said “oh I was told you didn’t like it because you’re pregnant” WHAT?!????

I looked at the menu outside (on building) the couple standing next to me & I were thrown off that there weren't pastries on the outside menu. But when we walked in - boom! They were on display. You order - then they seat you - then you pay at the end. We went in to grab a couple pastries; but the waffle sandwich sounded great and if I was getting that the kids wanted pancakes. It's easy to rack up a bill -but it was all great! The staff was friendly. They brought out some dough and rollers for the kids to play with while we waited.

A little different on service, menus line the outside walls with the intent that you make all your decisions up front as you request your table. Whole groups must order together regardless of intent to split bills. A larger group was easily accommodated right in front of us. Food was brought out quickly and each plate was delicious. The green chili was flavorful but not hot at all. Crepes were amazing and light. My wife's over medium eggs on the huevos rancheros were done perfectly. Worth the wait. Very filling. The coffee and chai tea were delicious as well! A minor issue was immediately corrected. The staff was attentive and extremely friendly.

Hands down the best breakfast and lunch place in town!!! Pastries and baked goods are amazing as well as their breads! Friendly tip; get there early before the rush for their great food starts! The line moves quick enough if you wait and believe me the wait is worth it!!! Thanks Cornerstone Bakery!

The atmosphere looks similar to a diner. The staff are quite welcoming and are hardworking here. I wish I had a better experience with my food but I didn't enjoy the taste and had an upset stomach for a couple of hours after. I ordered Las Cruces omlette without bacon. The melted cheese slices tasted too processed for my appetite and the potatoes were undercooked. The biscuit was tasty but I think the added "honey" was the cause of pain in my stomach.

The portions are a great size and the food was delicious. The staff was very energetic and friendly, open to make suggestions and overall did a great job handling a 10 person party. Will definitely return for the coffee bar & homemade biscuits.

Not worth the long wait for mediocre food. They have changed the Chili Relleno Omelet it is just chopped green chilis now and it came out cold. Out of alot of the pastries. $4.00 dollars for maybe 6 ozs of milk in a small plastic cup. We will find some place else on our next trip

The service was awesome. The people were attentive and friendly. We were a little taken aback when we had to wait about 30 mins because we had a party of 8. They kept pulling smaller groups from the line. The food was mediocre at best. The sausages were like little hocky pucks. The potatoes were dry...not the expierence we are used to in Ruidoso.

We had breakfast at Cornerstone the first day of our trip after reading reviews and enjoyed it so much that we chose to eat there every day after. Mixed Berry crepes and biscuits and gravy were my favorite. The owner was so sweet. 10/10

I suggested Cornerstone for my birthday lunch yesterday with my family - huge mistake! I spent my last day in Ruidoso (and my birthday) waiting for over two hours for food that never came. I had my 3 year old son and 4 month old daughter with me, so waiting is not always easy for us. My parents came in from out of town and I just felt awful that I had suggested this place. We had planned to eat around noon and ended up eating lunch at 3pm somewhere else.

We have loved this spot in the past, but our experience this time was incredibly disappointing! We went prior to peak time, no line upon arrival, and everything still felt rushed and like we were inconveniencing the staff by our mere presence. The ordering process is awkward and staff taking orders were not particularly helpful. Waitstaff were nice enough but not terribly attentive. We had to remind them about some of our beverages and then were served duplicates of others. The food was so disappointing. The pancakes were tough/dry and didn’t seem fresh. Most of our meals were lukewarm at best. The sausage gravy contained literally not one piece of sausage, the scrambled eggs were mushy, and the list goes on. My best guess is that in an effort to increase efficiency, they have severely cut their quality and any sense of charm that previously existed. I truly hope that the owners are paying attention to these reviews and can turn things around before it’s too late!!

We knew there would be a wait but from the outside it didn't look that bad but ended up waiting about 30-45 minutes. We finally got up to the front and ordered. We sat down in room two since the patio was already closed even tho it wasn't even 1 yet. The food took another 30-45 minutes. We figured at least it would be worth the wait but it wasn't. I got the southwest Mac and cheese ($14) and it was like it had been pulled out of the refrigerator. The plate was hot but the food was ice cold and a very small portion. The chicken breast was bland. I think if it had been warmer it would have been ok. I ate it anyways because we were so hungry and no one ever came back to check on us . The loaded potatoes were also cold. My husband's biscuits and gravy were very good but has to ask them to bring the orange juice ($7) that we had ordered half an hour before. The family that sat behind us also stated their food was cold as well. We were really hoping it would be worth the wait but it wasn't. I'm just glad that we actually got food because it sounds like several people today didn't. I know it's spring break and they're probably slammed and understaffed but I don't think I'd give it another chance. It seemed everyone around was having issues with food or the long wait.

Waited 1 hr and 45 minutes and never got food. No explanation or apology was given, and they didn't even bring us drinks or water for over an hour. Miserable, frustrating experience and a waste of time. Finally, we were advised to leave because it still wasn't clear if our order had even been placed in the computer.
