It was chill nice atmosphere I think it's great they won't let you sit or hold a table until the whole party is there. I've always hated that one guy holding up the line. Nice wholesome breakfast hand cut bacon handmade Patty's the country fried steak was good I'm definitely gonna ask if they could crisp mines up a little longer I like it crispy crispy. A little pricey but totally worth it I was satisfied...
Loved the authentic atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious food. I ordered the Taco Salad for lunch, and it was the best I've had, with a generous portion of perfectly seasoned ground beef.
Super food! We went for Mother’s Day Breakfast. It was super crowded and we almost did not wait but I am so glad we did! If you visit here, they are open 7 days a week from 7am to 2pm. We had a variety of breakfast items. Eggs, hash browns, gravy, biscuits, pork chops, toast and chicken fried bacon (which is an awesomely delicious experience). We shared a piece of hummingbird cake for dessert.
We were very pleased with our breakfast. A little higher than most but well worth it. Their sausage was homemade on premises and the patties are large. The sausage gravy and biscuits were delicious also. The pancakes were cooked good, just the way we like them. You want leave hungry.
Tiny place with home style cooking. Pork chops & mashed potatoes were great... Brown Gravy was a little watery. A bit expensive but that's to be expected as prices have gone up everywhere and this is definitely a family owned restaurant.
After my partner and I were greeted, we had to wait a while to be seated although there were 3 open tables (2 of them 2 seaters). After, the person that came in after us ordered their food that's when we were finally seated. I had the spanish omelet, it was tasty with a sweet roasted tomato flavor and some heat! The grits were more of a watery cream of wheat, cold and flavorless. The waitress was kind enough to offer some butter to help but the grits were so cold it made the butter harder. My partner had the Chicken Biscuit and it was beautifully delicious. The pies are impeccable! When we were leaving the staff became more friendly
Small place with a good home feel to it. Good food that was prepared quickly. The place was also clean. I will be back to get kore!
Prices higher than expected for this type of eatery. Poor quality bacon. Additional charge for using a credit card - 3.9%. Tipping pushed for even kitchen help. Service was fast, but still, not going back.
Very clean establishment with nice workers. The burger had eggs, bacon, and hash browns. It tasted good, HOWEVER it STUNK worse than feed lot full of cattle I passed on my way into town. The coffee was very weak and even though everything tasted good it was very over priced.
The food was good but the server was not respectful. We were rudely told that we can't sit on one of the vacant four seater tables because they were for larger parties. However all of the occupied four seater tables had only two diners sitting on them. There were two newly vacated four seater tables where we would like seated. Eventually we got seated to it for I insisted. Her tone of voice was very disrespectful and unfriendly. That was the first time I've been to this restaurant and my impression is dismal. There are more restaurants in Roswell with good food and pleasant waiters.
For the price you'd think the food would have been good. Everything was bland. Seems like everything came from bags instead of being cooked. High Way robbery.
Chicken fried steak didn't taste very fresh. Made us sit too close to all the other people in the restaurant. Wouldn't let us sit in a booth.
Great little Cafe on our long road trip. Definitely try the chicken and biscuits breakfast. Biscuits and gravy were so good.
Food was good as always. Asked for sausage and received bacon. Simple mistake and quick fix. Went through the entire meal on only one cup of coffee. Didn’t get asked for refill until I was finished eating. Still best place to eat breakfast in town though.
Wonderful food, made the way you want it. Service was great & friendly. Their cakes & pies are amazing.
The food was good, not a ton of flavor. Pretty simple and regular portion. I was disappointed that my pie was served completely cold. Apple pie should be warm n preferably with some cool whip or ice cream. Overall experience was acceptable.
Went to Cowboy Cafe for the first time since moving to Roswell, can say confidently it's much better than IHOP and Denny's! The sausage gravy tastes like that good homemade gravy 🤤 the only real downside is they need a bigger building!
Nice little off the strip find. Really good food and the staff were wonderful!
Horrible service. We asked for a booth..waitress said, no... only for larger parties, we're paying customers just like the parties larger than 3... who cares where you sit?? Sat us next to the waitress area, where food is being picked up to take to customers, so walking back and forth while trying to eat our salad.. We finally get our food about 45 minutes later, barely warm.. Our chicken fried chicken is paper thin!! They claim portions have gotten smaller, but yet the price has gone way up!! 15.00 for what seemed like luncheon meat, battered and fried... Two other parties walked in after we did, they got their food about 10 minutes before us?? They claim chicken takes longer to cook? I beg to differ if it's paper thin!!! I've eaten here a few other times, not the greatest but edible..but after today's customer service and the quality of their meal, I'll never return again.. TEXAS ROADHOUSE from now on for my family!!
This is a fun, lively cafe very close to the "alien" attractions. The service is great, especially considering how busy this place can get. The food was hit or miss - some undercooked eggs and unseasoned hash browns.
