I stop in here from time to time to get a caffeinated beverage and I love the atmosphere & location- it’s very convenient and a cute little place. The staff is always friendly and accommodating- my only complaint (which may not be much of one) is that they always run out of horchata for their special horchata latte early in the day. I’ve gone in here 3 times now to get it and they are always out for the day :(( Besides that, I just moved here from California and besides the local Starbucks it’s been a struggle to find a local coffee shop. Glad I found this one and am excited to support them whenever I come into town!

If you order a scope of ice cream expect to receive very little ice cream.

On our way to CO from AZ, we ventured off I25 looking for a light breakfast and happened on this delightful restaurant in Las Vegas, NM. We'll be back on our return.

We live in Santa Fe and thought we'd try Stella's Cafe last weekend. The service was quite good and the food was, well, different. I don't know if it was the spices or what. Was it good? Yeah, I guess it was. Would we return? Likely not. And I guess we don't care for all the eclectic surroundings. Looks like owner went to every antique store in Las Vegas and put the stuff all over the restaurant, almost like a museum. Not sure how that theme ties in with food. What I thought was odd was the location of the only restroom--it's right there by the cooking area?? Feels unsanitary, although it probably is not. The parking was ample and the prices expected. For the money, stick to SFe.

The green chili chicken sandwich is craveable! Stopped in on our way to Santa Fe from Denver. Wonderful quick lunch and friendly service. I’ll be back!

What a great find!!! The staff is some of the friendliness we have encountered in our travels. We both had a delicious sloppy Joe while my husband added the chili chicken soup. The sloppy Joe tasted like my mom's. It was very delicious, with lots of corn, chicken, green peppers, and rice. Plus he got some type of flat bread, but unsure of the name!! Give it a try! Amazing!!

Stella’s is our go to place for lunch and coffee. We even splurge once in a while and get an ice cream cone.

I had the breakfast sandwich.. what a fantastic offering. It’s now my favorite breakfast meal when we can get there early in the day. Otherwise I alternate between the tuna on sourdough bread or the excellent Ruben sandwich. Each more than enough food for a meal. Have heard great reviews from ny friends about the salmon bagel

I was personally excited and open to trying a new place, and granted, maybe this was an off day. I ordered door dash from here and got a bagel with salmon, a grilled green chili, chicken, swiss cheese melt, and a green chile chicken soup bowl. Obviously I am disappointed with what I received, but I will gladly edit this later if I ever get food from here again. First and foremost the soup is not only bland but seems to be scraps from maybe their southwest salad corn and chicken thrown into boiling water with some green chile and rice. It's essentially a vegetable soup with tiny chunks of chicken inside. I couldn't finish it so I moved onto the "chicken melt" and bagel. The chicken melt appeared with the texture of tuna. I took a bite and gave the rest to my dogs, so I didn't even get a picture here. It was the consistency of tuna and the chicken didn't have a taste. It was not the best, but the sauce that came on it was tasty. Last was the salmon bagel. It came in a closed off container that I had to flip over to get the bagel out, and then I opened it up. Firstly, the fat line on a cut of salmon isn't attractive to look at, nor does it taste very good. It's honestly unappetizing to me, personally as it tastes extremely fishy. Next was the fact that this sandwich was then squished together with half a block of cream cheese. It came with a small bag of chips that were the only reprieve to this entire meal. Some suggestions: The soup already isn't a vegan soup, so trying a cream base and maybe throwing some cheese in it would make it a bit richer. The chicken used on the melt was awful to look at and eat. Try slices maybe instead of cat food-esque pieces. Lastly, what makes a salmon bagel both delicious and pleasant is serving it open-faced so the person consuming it doesn't get bogged down with a giant bagel and instead has evenly portioned, trimmed, salmon lox or smoked salmon with the onion and capers on either side. If it's served as a closed sandwich to save on

This is a beautiful place with nice vibes. The Café Mocha was really amazing. Full bodied, strong, delicious. I was a bit taken aback by how small the breakfast choices come out as. We had an avocado toast for $8.50 and the egg on hash pattie dish (same price). For the price it was just simply too small. Just one slice of toast and the hash dish was tiny …. In Spain they call that tapas. A little something you get for free with your wine or beer. But I would definitely go back and try different items. Everything tasted good but we left hungry.

Stella's Cafe is a wonderful little coffee shop with BIG heart! Warm ambiance and hands down the best esspresso in town! Sit down and stop rushing! Sit and sip and chat with your community in this wonderful coffee shop! I have childhood memories of eating here when it was Estella's cafe. The way they paid tribute to the original Estella's really warmed my heart! I can still sit at the same stool!

Our group loved this nostalgic place. We hadn't been there since our college days, so walking in the building we were extremely pleased with the reno. We all tried different foods.. the Monte Cristo, the grilled cheese, the bagel with salmon and cream cheese and the BLT. ALL were excellently done !!! This is our new brunch spot!! Congratulations, Stella's!!!
