Service was amazing! Food was great! Ice cream was the best!!
Looking for bbq, but those places closed during week. They are only open Thursday-Sunday. Went to Dave's, ordered bbq chicken, it was whole chicken breast with bbq on top. Wasn't what I expected, but was a good sized portion. We ordered the French fries to go with the sandwich and when we got to our destination, found out they gave us potato chips instead. Even though paid extra for the fries. It was a total disappointment and couldn't do anything about it since we were several miles away by then.
Only seen her waitress twice the whole time we were there the ice cream man had to give my uncle coffee because the waitress wasn't coming back around
What amazing place to eat. Friendly staff, great live music, and the food is top notch. Those tater tots are legit!
Stopped in for a day trip to New Mexico and ordered the melts. Those were great! But I want to say the sweet potato fries were AMAZING!!!! I love sweet potato fries and honestly my wife and I thought these were the best we have ever had and that isn't even an exaggeration! The waitress behind the bar was cheerful and greeted us right away. She got caught up at the register and when she came back apologized right away for the wait which I loved. Place was clean at the empty tables and floors. Definitely check the place out!
We really enjoyed our visit. The atmosphere is rustic and welcoming. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend!
Great food! I also want to say that the portions are just the right size, not too big and not too small. The beer options for domestic is ginormous and the Cloudcroft brewery amber is quite satisfying as well.

The food was so-so, at best. Nothing special at all. The only thing that gave this Cafe 3 stars was the delicious ice cream. The raspberry chocolate was delicious!

Every single person in this restaurant was SO FRIENDLY!!!! We ordered a veggie hoagie to go, with French fries. It was absolutely delicious!!! Will come back here again!!
I ordered a Swiss Mushroom Burger with tater tots. Burger was good. Tots were freezer-burned, sonthey we hard. Good people though.

Stopped to have lunch at Dave's. Good food and quiet atmosphere. Beautiful drive from Alamogordo then on to 244. Will definitely go again next time I make that journey. Dave's is a great destination for sightseeing in Cloudcroft. Had a Ruben sandwich and still had to take half home. So I would say large portions. Give it a try!
A very chill place to have a nice ice cold beer and some yummy food. I absolutely love their French Dip Sandwich, it’s delicious! Packed with roast beef, cheese and a delicious au jus sauce to dip it in. I also enjoy their Philly Cheesesteak and their Country Fried Chicken Sandwich. Both filling and tasty. When it comes to appetizers, you can’t go wrong with their fried mushrooms. The service is good, the staff is friendly. Prices are comparable to others in the area. They do offer a variety of beers on tap, the selection changes periodically so it’s a great place to try out something new. They also have beer on cans and bottles, as well as a nice selection of wines. This place has a very relaxed atmosphere, kid friendly. If you’re hungry, give this place a try! Honestly, try their French Dip Sandwich!

Quit Sunday morning, solid menu options cooked just right for the right price. Would look forward to eating here again.

Best patty melt in New Mexico! When we first arrived it's was pretty busy but we only waited maybe 15 mins to be greeted. Which we didn't mind at all, service was great. Prices are really decent. Definitely will be back!
