Love this place, just extremely pricey
Friendly service and great prices. It was pretty chaotic when we first got there and the line was out the front door on a weekday. You need to visit the counter whether you are getting coffee to go or sitting down for breakfast. Once we did get seated, it took a bit to get our coffees and food but overall was a delightful breakfast!
Food was great and fresh. Location was great too, sat outside and enjoyed the weather.
While a cute shop and polite people, the service was incredibly slow for two simple to-go coffees. And then to top it off, the orders were both wrong
Our favorite spot to hit when we are in town to ski Taos. Fresh local food, delicious breakfast, and nice employees. Their organic market next door is incredible also!
Wow… What a great place for breakfast! The chef put lots of experience and thought into every plate on the menu. Great quality ingredients.
Great place to adopt some pet mice
I deeply want to love this place. The food is good and it’s a good thinking space but the staff can be overwhelmed, it can take a really long time to get service, service etiquette gets forgotten because they’re understaffed and overwhelmed, and staff can be really rude to customers as they expect people to inherently know that they should check in at the counter before being seated.
This is the best place to go for breakfast in Taos. Trust me, we tried all the other places, don't bother. The Mile High omelet was awesome! Good quality food cooked to perfection. The coffee here is also wonderful whether you like it with syrups or not. Very friendly, responsive service, the food is some of the best breakfast food I've ever had, and if you're into pastries, one of the girls wakes up super early in the morning to make pastries for the Cafe. Homemade! It's also close to the mountain if you're on your way there. There's also a little grocery store attached to it. Lots of foods, snacks, and drinks available. We'll be headed back in the morning before we leave town. And if you have any dietary restrictions, this is the place for you.
Loved the local art they had, the outfoor seating was great, and my cinnamon roll was perfectly made. I liked my coffee, but my wife wasn't a fan of hers. They were very busy and could probably use some additional help.
Wow. My latte, food, and fresh juice were amazing. I was not expecting to get such a high quality espresso and such fresh food in one place, in a tiny town!
Taos is such a wonderfully quirky place. Sol Food is a wonderfully quirky and world class cafe there. Truly. I’m a jaded New Yorker and can tell you this place offers creative, delicious organic fare. The sandwiches are out of this world…and so are their desserts! Stay quirky Sol Food!
Chill sunday lunch on the patio. Great paninis, a cold beer for me, a mimosa for the wife and some bacon for the dog.
2 times I’ve been. Both times were disappointing. The food is thrown together and not worth the cost. The last time I went, I ordered a club. It had 1/2 slice of tomato on one side of the sandwich and about 1/16th of an avocado on the other side. One slice of meat and I couldn’t find the cheese. They need to Google “club sandwich” because it was ALL bread, so thin and pathetic. I will not be returning.
loved the barbecue sandwich i got and the place was super cute !
Great food and atmosphere. Love their Grilled Paninis.
Cool location. The musician on the patio was great while we waited for takeout. The Pappas were delicious, though different. My partner enjoyed the Reuben. It was a little pricey, but not at all disappointing.
Atmosphere is perfect. Servers are friendly and prompt. Italian sandwich was excellent. Delicious coffee and homemade pastry
We had a very nice lunch here, our waitress was awesome and so was our food, we will be back and it will become a regular spot for us.
Incredible breakfast and excellent coffee. Arroyo Seco has some real gems, and this is definitely one of them!
