First time going. Dinner and restaurant were good and Marachi excellent. First time visiting and wanting to celebrate our 30 anniversary there. The restrooms far from clean. Absolutely disgusting.

The tamales are dry and smaller. The flavor is bland. I ordered tacos I got no salsa bummer. And the stuffed sopapilla are small and not much red chili.

Our family was coming here since my parents were kids. Now I bring my grandkids. It’s always been delicious but lately it’s hit and miss. Food potions change from visit to visit. Staff is great!

Food wasn't the best but there was alot. You can sit outside or take it to go which was neat.

This is for the management or mostly for the owners. Me and my family have been coming for years and love the food . Big problem we waited exactly 45 mins from the time ordered to get our food we really were dissatisfied with this call in is probably better but I wanted the owners you need to really work on your sytem. Great food as always poor service. I'm now got home and my menudo I ordered was half full I also got a 1/4 of chicahornes and only got 5 chicharones my wife's stuffed sopa was soggy . Man I tell this is a bummer . Owners of model you just lost a customer. Thanks for the sorry and disappointing trip to your restaurant

This place is amazing, the food is incredible. I can’t eat like this everyday, but treat yourself to a true New Mexican meal. My favorite is the stuffed sopappillas!

The food is so-so. The customer service is horrible. I ordered my food from a woman with attitude and her and another woman were glaring at me as I waited for my order. I literally dont know who they are and I usually dont come here very often. I got my food and left. If you want quality food and excellent service, go to Los Compadres. They're so nice and accommodating and the food is VERY good. At El Modelo, they dont like their job and it shows in their face. Eye rolling, glaring and not even a thank you. 💯

Way Overrated, Rude Staff and food was cold and just thrown together with no care. The Place looked like it was about a hundred years old. The ordering system needs to be evaluated to be more efficient. seems like chaos. Way better places to eat in Albuquerque.

Wait time was ridiculous, ordered 6 tamales cold, 6 tamales hot, and 3 stuffs and took 45 min. There chicken tamales are all masa barely any chicken, not like the pork tamales. I ordered stuffs with no cheese and got cheese, could go back cuz I had to catch a ✈. I just heard they have new owners and old employees left, and now can't find workers.

We have always wanted to try their food so we had high expectations. They didn't disappoint. It was crazy busy but they were preparing orders quickly. Staff was rushed but they were pleasant and took got our order correct. Food was excellent. Prices are very low compared to other restaurants. Wish they had a space for dining in but it would really slow down service and increase costs. I would recommend calling in your order ahead only because they are so busy.

I went there today to get to tamales. When I got there they tried to charge me $40 for a dozen tamales. Their websit says $28. When I got their I advised I’d what the website says is the cost is $28 a dozen. They are gouging people because it is a holiday because they can.

Sooo much yummy food in Albuquerque but this is one place everyone MUST have. It is amazing! If you are visiting Albuquerque this is one of the stops you do not want to miss. The stuffed sopapilla is our favorite! This is an Albuquerque Iconic food stop! EDIT: So fyi their menu online is invalid...prices are probably pre-covid? Pix have new prices.

Food is great! The service you receive is terrible. Women are rude, non sociable. I would give the food 5 stars and the service 0 stars.
