The coffee and view has kept me coming back almost daily for around 7 years now. If you're passing through Alamogordo, you don't want to miss it! Plenty of space to park an RV or camper as well in their upper parking lot.

5/5 - This is one of the best coffee shops in Alamogordo, unique location, friendly staff, well curated menu list. We stopped by to have some coffee and sandwich, and their panini tasted great. The ambiance is excellent. They have an old telephone booth and great vintage items in the cafe. Spacious, they have inside and outdoor seating.

Coffee and service were great! Also beautiful views and plenty of seating. Don't bother with the "scone". I love love love scones. The one here is more like a flat cookie wrapped in plastic wrap.

Visiting from Pennsylvania, we were craving a good coffee and chill spot. Plateua Expresso is by far the best coffee shops we have ever visited. Outstanding chais and coffee. The friendliest staff we have encountered in decades...our batista (AV) I believe his name was by far the nicest, most polite and helpful young man I've ever met. Shout out to Bella for helping us find new local hiking spots. What was supposed to be a one-time visit...has led into an everyday stop after hiking or shooting ranges. This place is a MUST STOP. Good job to management and their employees!

Great place. I love going at night. Their patio is the perfect place to watch the most beautiful sunsets over the mountains and the coffee is amazing.

Shop is very remote from everything. Plenty of parking. Very spacious. The sandwiches were good. Soup was very good.

Traveling though and this was worth the stop! Zebra mocha is delicious and the spouse enjoyed the black coffee. Great taste and temperature. Very clean and large enough to stay and enjoy.

The cafe offers a selection of paninis in addition to coffees and teas. Everything we tried was delicious. Location is an added bonus. While it is a bit out of the way, it sits at the foot of the mountains, giving a panoramic view of the whole town and beyond. The covered porch allows to enjoy food with a great view. I will definitely be back if I'm in the area again.

The breakfast panini was delicious and the cranberzi (can't remember the name) smoothie was excellent. Good view, seating inside and out, couch seating area. I dig it. *Update* Cafe mocha was delicious... Chocolatey, but not too sweet and still has a bold, but smooth coffee flavor.

Well I always come here and this place is basically synonymous with Alamogordo in my mind. I've never had a bad drink here or a bad cookie, tough I would say their sandwiches always seem to have an odd aftertaste and I don't order them. They have the best iced tea for a hot summer day. They have the most beautiful sweeping views of the basin and White Sands and plenty of places to sit comfortably, including outside. The patio gets a little too sunny where the tables are set up for me but I love it indoors. You can always find out what's up in the community with the events posted on thewall. The wifi often goes out but a lot of people are using it. The parking lot leaves a lot to be desired unfortunately. The same people have been working here for years and are always nice and know how to make everything I ask for. They rarely run out of stuff. So overall I really like this place and enjoy meeting friends here or coming for some quiet time with headphones and my laptop. I also frequently visit the drive thru as it's convenient and I prefer supporting a small local business to Starbucks. Oh and the lines are always shorter here than Starbucks. so it's worth it to me even though I do have to drive across town from where I live and work as it's farther than Starbucks from me. I hope this place stays open for a long, long time.
