Been there many times friendly folk good assortment of items including great burritos
We’ve loved Bodes for years, but we had a terrible experience here lately with the cook in the back. Our daughter has allergies and we asked if they could sub one ingredient. Instead of simply telling us they couldn’t, one of the cooks got extremely aggressive with us and told us she’d never seen us before and didn’t make exceptions for her locals so why would she for us? (We are locals…) We will no longer be visiting Bodes and will tell our friends to avoid it too.
Their burritos are always on point! Very delicious!

Not just a gas stop! Lots of shopping treasures. We stopped there going and coming back! Good service.
This is a must stop when driving by. We stop here every time en route to Pagosa Springs to get a snack, supplies, and for photos with the pink flamingo! 🦩
Bode's is absolutely the most charming gift shop and small convenience store. Highly recommended as a must stop. Enjoy!

A unique stop for literally anything you might need. Coffee, tweezers to pluck cactus needles (watch where you climb on those rocks!), reasonable gas, books by local authors, groceries, a bit of history about the Sante Fe trail on a plaque outside - what a find! Definitely a must stop. Very friendly staff as well, which is much appreciated. The only regret is not trying the burritos... Which seemed very popular. I'll remedy that on our next visit!

Bode's is literally an oasis in yhe desert. It's always great to stop and get some good food on our way by.
Do you need ANYTHING?! Anything at all?! They have it!! A selection of wines, foods, snacks, gifts, any thing New Mexico? They have it! The staff was super helpful, everyone was great, and they were open the day before Thanksgiving and ready to help us with anything we needed. Thank you for being open and for having everything we needed!
Decent bathrooms if you're driving through, and an awesome selection of food, souvenirs, cookware, dog supplies...a little of everything you could possibly need while in the area.
My mom brags about Bode's to everyone! We stop there on our way to Chama. The burritos are absolutely delicious! You must try!!!
Stay in Bode's long enough, and eventually you'll meet everyone who lives in Abiquiu. If you're staying nearby, and have forgotten anything at all, Bode's as you covered!
