I love this place. My only wish would be for more low carb options for food.

I frequent the union market and have receiving nothing less than 5 star service. All baristas(os?) are always kind, happy, welcoming & warm. I’m greeted on a first name basis which is so imperative (for me) when assessing customer service! I truly feel like I stop at a friends house when I stop in to grab my daily coffee & breakfast! They also make the BEST chicken salad I’ve ever had.

25 minutes for 2 overpriced lattes and chocolate milk for my son. Wait staff was extremely rude and gives off “better than you” attitude. Order was wrong. Not much good to say. Won’t be coming back.

Went there with my friends and amazing! The place is beautiful and the staffs are super friendly. The foods are delicious. I love that you get a lot of food as well for the price. I am definitely going back.

This place is great!!! Everything we had was fantastic (coffee, smoothie, some bakery items), the same with what everyone else was eating that we saw (in particular, the grilled cheese and the avocado toast looked really good!). Service was outstanding, interior is cool, and all was good as well. I've eaten a lot of scones, but the expresso chocolate chip we had to day was probably the best I have ever had! I really can't say enough about this place!

First time ever for me was at Open Mic Night! What a great way to spend a cold dreary evening! There was music, poetry and comedy that was shared and enjoyed by a very diverse group in that room hung with art from local artists. While I did not have any food items, I enjoyed the hibiscus tea. The Chai and coffee selections were also popular with our group as were the desserts. Who needs the city?

Firstly, beware of vegan options on the menu, they state the substitutes are vegan but often forget to "substitute" for vegan meat. When ordering vegetarian/vegan food we hope for our own sake that we can trust the establishment making the food to comply with what they state it will be. Unfortunately, The Union Market does not deliver this comfort. I have personally given The Union Market 2 chances to deliver a vegetarian dish for me and my significant other, each visit ranged from 40 dollars and only consisted of 2 lattes and a dish each. Most recently we received our breakfast sandwich with our "vegan" bacon on it, and our vegetarian breakfast platter consisting of eggs, french toast, vegan bacon, and real sausage??. Unfortunately, I didn't notice there was real bacon on my sandwich until after trying it. Lastly, the girl at the counter is very kind, and the establishment is nice. It's a shame because our area does need restaurants that are trying to accommodate vegetarians, but unfortunately, a BBQ brisket grille is more trustworthy for delivering vegetarian options. 2-star ratings because the coffee was good plus they fed me a non-vegetarian dish twice. I unfortunately never tried the 80 dollars worth of food purchased so I can't rate that.

After a wander around the seaport we stopped in here for lunch. I had biscuits and gravy. Toasted homemade biscuits, maple sausage gravy. Delicious. Served over a helping of their toasty flavorful hashbrowns. Really tasty. Worth the money. That's my rave. Dave
