Lets talk about this gem we found totally at random. Food was absolutely outstanding. I got the chicken sandwich that was easily the best chicken sandwich that I’ve had in my life. It came w some of the best fries too. Well seasoned, crispy and it was fresh and piping hot. My partner had the burrata and pesto sandwich (I think called the hermione) and the bread, the pesto, the tomato!? Come on!! We also got the brownie and it was perfection. I’m already planning my next visit. The service was outstanding and the restaurant is owned and operated by the cutest family I’ve ever seen. The staff was attentive and friendly. 10/10 all around!

This place is excellent. We had a bit of a wait, but it was worth it! Fabulous service and people. Highly recommend.

I've been to this place for both takeout and dine in. The food is tasty and creative. The staff is great as well.

Food and drinks were absolutely delicious. I had a cappuccino (strong) and the dragon fruit lemonade (yummy!) Also had the "oh damn" a croissant sandwich. It was filling and delicious. Can't wait to go back and try their biscuit options.

Absolutely amazing food! Got the Cedric, which is their roast beef dish, and Harry, a grilled chicken sandwich. Both were so flavorful, you can tell they put a lot of love in their food and everything tasted so fresh! Will definitely be back!

Great place except really slow. There’s no sense of urgency. If you’re in a hurry, better avoid.

First time her and WOW! The owner, Wilma, was supremely sweet. The service is pretty great! Biscuits were bussin and the cappuccino was DIVINE!!!!! Give this place a try. We are going back to try the Indian fare soon. They opened in September right before COVID and I’m happy they’ve survived. Very clean and looks kid friendly too! I’m going to bring my 3 year old in the coming months. Enjoy!

Every time I eat here, I feel as if I am home. The smiles from the owner and staff fill up my soul as much as the food fills up my stomach. The royal tho 🤤🤤.

The service? Amazing.. always so welcoming and attentive to their customers. They find the perfect balance of leaving you alone, but checking in on you to make sure you're okay. The Chicken & Waffles... giirrrrllll, let me tell you .. it comes out with this crispy shell Chicken, that's juicy and tender on the insider. Seasoned and flavored nice with a slight slight slight spice. Served over a flavorful round waffle. My only gripe is you can NOT order the chicken & waffles to go..... I thought about taking a star away, because that's REALLY disappointing. If you're hungry, have a taste for it, but the place is packed or you rather be in the comfort of your own home to enjoy the meal, you can't... The place is really small, and always high volume of traffic on the weekends.

Not as many vegan options as I hoped for but the ones that they did have were heat, I would go again

Amazing food and great service. We had to wait ~20 minutes before getting seated. Place gets quite loud at times. Would come back!

the big problem we had was with communication. We ordered the oven baked omelette. We were sitting for most of an hour, watching others who ordered after us get their food without any sense of when our food was coming. When we finally asked we were told "I think they are plating it, but I could be wrong" which wasn't helpful. The food itself was really good, but was brought down by the frustration at waiting without any updates

Wait time on restaurants and cafes are generally a no big deal for us as we know good ones tend to have it. The Order fits that description of “good things are worth the wait”. We came in on a sunday expecting the place to be busy which was no surprise; and plus their website have mentioned that since they make everything fresh, service may take a while. When we got our orders though, we understood entirely why. All the food we had was hot and fresh delicious! We got the dirty fries which was the perfect side: crispy and had a wonderful garlic aioli. We inhaled those to oblivion. My husband had The Royal which was eggs, sausages and cheese. It was sooo flavourful and the cheese was so stretchy! For me, i had the Plain Jane since I was looking to have some rice for lunch. The sauce was perfect. Filling, flavorful and so worth it. Love the side of cucumbers for added crunch. For drinks I tried the cardamom latte which was something new for me. Its not going to be a favorite but I just love trying new flavors. Latte art was beautifully done. Minor thing but the decor, especially, the frames were a little confusing to me and i didnt find it so cohesive. Didnt affect the experience but just wanted to mention it lol overall a wonderful experience and a meal we thoroughly enjoyed!

Small but super cute breakfast or lunch place with good service. You scan a device on your table to place your order, which is very convenient. The food was very good and they have a large menu of specialty coffee drinks. The decor is very eclectic and inviting. It was a little noisy but not too bad. I would definitely go again. The only downside was parking. You have to park in a South Orange municipal parking lot and pay a fee to park. If you go during the week, most of the spots are already taken by the commuters. There is street parking but you'll have to drive around to find it.

If I could give them negative starts I would. Ordered food for the purpose of not waiting and hour to eat. The front person was more incompetent than a child. The manager wouldn’t let the food we ordered from there he played to eat in the restaurant. McDonalds has better service than this place. Will make sure to not recommend to anyone in town and will be reviewing everywhere I can. Disgusting.

eggs scrambled with sourdough toast. this was before they took turkey bacon off the menu. they also decided to take almond milk away too. I haven't been back since these items were removed. why take away almond milk? coffee tastes great with it. I just don't understand it.
