This is the greatest little spot. You can sit and enjoy your tea or coffee in a lively environment. I personally always have a sweet of some kind. This place is a must.

Just left here for the first time and it was amazing! I had the fluffiest and most flavorful waffle! My cappuccino and my husband’s coffee were incredible! My husband had a forest ham and egg croissant for and he said it was so flakey, buttery and yummy!! In addition, we got to listen to some great music by Austin. This was an excellent find and we will be back!!!!
The food and especially the coffee are a great treat. It can get a little tight depending the time of day, so plan accordingly.
Price points are high for almost everything for the area. Some good items on the menu though.
Food was delicious! By the time I tasted my hot chocolate it wasn’t as warm and I know that it was because I was too busy photographing it. Anyway, I’d definitely come back!
A small upscale coffee and breakfast shop. They always make me feel like family.
Our family has long loved the coffee box and miss their presence in plainfield. Of course their coffee is great. But the atmosphere is comfortable and they really “do” customer service well. I also appreciate the owner’s commitment to community support and involvement.
One of the best breakfast places.Very healthy and delicious dishes. Their salmon panini is a must try. Drinks are a little pricey but it's worth every penny. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice healthy breakfast.

escaping from the cooperate world the owner Jeff has created the perfect blend in this unique establishment. Community building with many events focused on community resilience gatherings outside coffee box have included musical performances, house music, open mic nights, and our favorite community meetups. The perfect place for a cooperate breakfast or lunch but also a place to meet and not be alone. The regulars are great group people the promote a happy environment where everyone knows they are welcome.
We have been enjoying coffee box for quite awhile, some other local establishments may be a little cheaper but once you taste the coffees and food you understand exactly why, the difference in quality is monumental. The staff is always warm and pleasant is a relaxing and inviting environment. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ is an understatement. The community focused events and the Thursday night gatherings show how Coffee Box is much more than a coffee shop. Jeff and crew please keep up the amazing work we are proud to have Coffee Box a 2nd home.
Quick stop for a nice hot green matcha tea & a hot chocolate for the honey. Tried the cheese puff pastry which made for a nice cheesy snack in the afternoon in Rahway, NJ. The interior looked cozy and inviting. Customer service was wonderful. I would definitely return!

Love the music on the weekends. Brightens up the whole neighborhood. I had a question about the water used for the coffee --- is it filtered? Bottled? The coffee tastes different everytime I go in there.
