Microwaved bacon and eggs on my sandwich. Absolutely gross. All donuts are "old fashioned" type, more like cake mix. Not my style and I would have avoided this place if I knew. Huge disappointment, wait aside.
Messy but SO GOOD
I ordered a death by chocolate donut which has crushed Oreos, mini chocolate chips, chocolate sprinkles and chocolate glaze. But what I received was m&ms and chocolate glaze. So I went back inside to talk to worker. She said I got the donut that I ordered but by the menu photos I knew she had given me the wrong donut.
First time trying their donuts and this place is AMAZING!!!! the staff was super friendly, and everything is so fresh!! Definitely will be coming back again!
The Fractured Prune is hands-down one of the best donut makers on the east coast. They have a phenomenal, mouth-watering selection of flavors.
Me and my wife had doughnuts from The Fractured Prune last weekend, my oh my what a delight! The consistency, and taste of these doughnuts are unlike any other. Great owners and staff as well. John Thomashefsky- Sewell NJ
If you want a GREAT cup of Coffee, Latte or a Breakfast sandwich you have to visit this place, the service is GREAT and the owners really care about their customers, when they come out and find the time to talk to you!!!
The donuts come out gooey and deliciously warm. There are so many unique flavors to choose from, and much more!
Highly recommend the bacon egg and cheese bagel and donuts! The staff is so nice and affordable prices. Love this place!
The donuts are fun and creative. The latte however was lacking. In the end I was not overly impressed.
Very good donuts! I think they could be improved a bit by making their cake a bit lighter and fluffy and get their glaze and sugar coatings a bit thicker to stay on the donut instead of running off. The OC Sand and French toast did not have enough toppings on the donut.
GO THERE!! The donuts are amazing! Fresh, warm, and delicious. I brought them back to our rental, which was about 5 minutes from the store, and they were PERFECT. I think it's probably best to let them sit a couple minutes before you eat them, as they might be too hot when they're first served. Don't skip this place!
Amazing donuts, the OC sand is personal favorite. Make it tradition to visit this place each time we visit ocean city.
This place is awesome! First of all the donuts are delicious. Second everyone was so friendly. Then the breakfast sandwiches are so delicious. I've been to all the donut places in OC and this was my favorite.
This is such a great spot for breakfast! The breakfast sandwiches are tasty and just her right size, the donuts come in a million delicious flavors, and the coffee drinks are fantastic! The staff is always so friendly, and service is quick even on busy days. And their peanut butter cold brew coffee is my absolute favorite 😍

My two young sons were excited to share with the staff that it was our first time here. The staff was so friendly. We used their outdoor seating to eat our donuts warm. I heard the manager (owner?) tell a staff member inside "It's their first time here. Go check on them and see how they like it." I loved the experience. The donuts were delicious, and the pride in customer service was appreciated. We will definitely be back soon!
Went for coffee since it was close walking distance from our hotel. First time experience with Fractured Prune Donuts so I asked and I found out they were cake donuts made to order. At first I thought, ok, already made donuts that are topped with your choice of toppings. The owner explained further that they actually make the donuts fresh when you order! I was still sceptical if I would really enjoy a cake donut since I prefer the other kind. Well! It was amazing!! We went back the next morning for another donut and coffee!! I can't say enough good things about my two visits! The warm donut was amazing. Great staff and owners, friendly and great customer service. My OCNJ visit was only two days, but I know I would have gotten a donut each morning if my vacation had been longer. Coffee and latte were very good, too.

Decadent donuts, superb breakfast sandwiches, and friendly staff make Fractured Prune the best donut shop in Ocean City! The donuts are made hot and fresh to order so be prepared for a bit of a wait, but everything from Fractured Prune is well worth that wait. You can also order online which makes ordering very quick and easy. We ordered donuts for my daughter's donut themed birthday party and they are guaranteed to be a huge hit! This is a must stop when visiting OC, NJ!
