The spot. Whenever I’m near one I need it. Delicious!!!
The Rook is so much better than Starbucks. The coffee is fantastic , and the Cranberry Scones are to die for... The staff is always friendly, no matter which Rook you go to.
Great and friendly service! Coffee is excellent.
Excellent coffee, chill vibe. I love the Turkish with half & half. I just wish there were more stores than just in a concentrated section around the shore. Their presentation suggests they'll grow soon enough. A good quality cup o' Joe for $2 full dollars less than Snootbucks!
It would be nice to have a couple of tables and a couple of chairs. Also, it would be nice to have small sized coffee cups, not everyone can handle a drink that big...
The blonde barista is a miserable soul
Great coffee and service. No place to sit down.
Simple menu, delicious coffee! My daily stop before heading to work down the street! Not going to lie, I used to be a hater because of the lack of extras, but I'm delighted to say, I'm a part of their cult-like following now, Rook bumper sticker and all! If you're more into sweet coffees like myself try out their latte style with agave or some of the seasonal sweet flavors! Also the Kouign-Amann pastry and cranberry scone are both great.
Rook Coffee has a great energy that you feel through the efficiency of its team working the shop, the clean/pleasant shops, and the great coffees! I ordered the New Orleans Style (Iced). The flavor of the chickory is clear and just excellent. It's funny, I didn't have such good coffee in New Orleans. Colts Neck is a great location. Keep up the grewt work!
The blonde hair person working today could work on how they talk to guests. No Thank you no you’re welcome not even have a nice day. They are certainly not the person I would want working in my store. I felt like I was not a welcomed guest there lol. The cinnamon vanilla cold brew was delicious though.
Came here to get a cup of coffee and was met by an impatient counter girl that expected me to understand and use their invented barista vernacular. I should have known at that moment because the coffee was worse than the customer service. I know a good coffee and the product these guys put out there is an embarrassment. Steer clear. Dunkin might honestly just be a better option.
Buy from here if you like burnt coffee.
i love the coffee so much it makes me shake
Usually I stop here before going to class for a morning pick me up. You can’t go wrong with any coffee from Rook, i’ve been getting coffee here for years. Their seasonal coffees are delicious. I typically get a black new orleans cold brew. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because it’s a little slow and takes a little bit of time to get my black coffee. Other than that, I definitely recommend Rook. They have small pastries and some merch which I see a lot of people wearing throughout the area.
LOVE the only down side is them not being in south jersey, maybe one day 🙃🙃
Very simple coffee shop. Coffee and a couple sweets. Interesting to see a full service bagel shop next door. Coffee was good and reasonably priced.
Clean all new and very nice employees. Coffee was excellent
One of the best coffee places in New Jersey
Coffee is amazing. I tip sometimes but I don’t feel it’s right to always pressure a customer for a tip. I know times are hard but still it makes me annoyed bc I always pay the bill and smile and sometimes I say have a nice day. Even sometimes for not giving a tip sometimes I don’t get a reply for saying have a great day. I’m not mad but I hope people see this and if you can relate great!
Really great coffee spot!
