Good prices, good food 😏
The food and the service was excellent made you feel like your home
I really don't understand how Shyrls diner has so many 5 star reviews. This place was filthy, and the food was below average. The ceiling fan literally has 1/3rd of an inch of grease and grime the whole place is in need of a professional cleaning. Our food was just that food with nothing special about any of it. I've read some of the other reviews, and Shyrl seems very disrespectful in her replies to criticism, even called one reviewer a jerk. They must have a friend in the health department. I definitely don't recall this diner.
We had the best experience. Good food and great service.
Old-fashioned, where everyone knows your name type of place. Good home cooked foods (home made bread & muffins) once you come here, there will be no need to go elsewhere.
Not for me but others might like it. Ordered egg over hard and well done, with cheddar cheese, and sausage patty on an English muffin with side of home fries. Home fries left orange colored oil on my plate from grease they were cooked in and there was a piece of bacon mixed in. Egg was runny, English muffin was buttered. I did inquire about the fruit on the menu but didn't order it - fresh mixed fruit is available and the mixed berries listed are frozen and will be heated up in the microwave. Water on tap tasted normal. No noticeable odor from grease in the air and floors were not slippery like some other diners I've been to or worked at. If you are looking for fresh not frozen ingredients and/or need a gluten free, or allergy free or vegetarian or other special diet your options here will be very limited.
Sheryl’s is the best! Great food and awesome people!!
Service was slow but very good. My eggs were so under cooked, they had to be eaten with a spoon because it was way too watery (I ordered them over easy.) I left the entire meal behind untouched but still offered to pay for it. The waitress refused to take my money as I didn't eat my meal. I left her a tip on my table anyway (she did do her job and served me, she deserved it.) They don't offer toast and homefries unless with an omlette. I have been to hundreds (if not more) breakfast places and never have I been to a place that doesn't serve toast and homefries with a meal. I may have caught them on an off day. I'll give them another chance sometime when I go back to visit, but it will definitely not be the next time. You have a good business and location there. The place was packed with people waiting at the door. That must speak for something. The kitchen is the most important part of your business, you have to pay close attention to the food going onto the plates (bad days do happen, understandable.) Toast and potatoes are cheap enough to not incorporate them into all the meals. I hope to update this post with a better review soon.
Friendly, big portion, homemade bread, great place! 5 stars!
This place makes our hearts happy!
Absolutely love this restaurant! The staff is amazing. Shyrl is an icon in this town! The most amazing home cooked food! Nothing from the can. All of it home made. Order a milkshake! They are so good!
Great local diner with amazing value for price.
The prices were super affordable. Loved our waitress! Very attentive and fun! My boyfriends dad tends to joke around alot and she gave it right back. Lots of laughs.
Don’t bother. The only worse than the bland food was the service. This was the short nicer version. Since I was asked by the owner. here is the long version. I ordered the eggs, Benedict. The hollandaise sauce had no flavor and was somehow greasy and had what I hope was some form of starch to thicken it in chunks. The English muffin was not even toasted. They use ham not Canadian bacon and the only part of this meal that was correct was the eggs. My wife had the corn beef hash. This looked like it had been thrown right from the can onto the plate. I don't have a problem with canned corned beef, but serving it so raw is a problem. My daughter who is 3 and never met a pancake she didn't like kept saying she was full and wouldn't eat. So I tried it, and it was undercooked and probably one of the worst pancakes I have eaten. Both my wife and daughter left half their meal on their plate and I honestly can't say enough bad things about the meal but I think you get the idea. When everyone at the table orders their favorite breakfast and won't finish it there is a problem. As for the service. While we were waiting for a seat we were waiting for a seat the lady working the grill was joking about how long it has been since she cooked. She made a comment something like look how bad these pancakes are then she put them out for the waitstaff to take. The waitress was short with us and looked like she would have wrath been anywhere else. She never got around to bring the water my wife ordered so in short, the staff was unprofessional and rude. So no we didn't bother reporting that the staff was unprofessional to the staff. It was not worth our time or theirs. In my mind, you can have rude staff or bad food not both and this place clearly had both. Yes, the place was busy and I am still in shock about that. I hope that clears things up.
We always enjoy our time at Shyrl’s Diner. The food is great, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly and make each visit fun. We always feel like we’ve gotten our money’s worth
Prices are amazing and never had a bad meal. Feels like home, always happy service and food is always good.

Great food and service, and where a working person can afford to dine. Nothing has changed if it isn't broke don't fix it.
