Went in for a cup of coffee and ended up staying for lunch. Both were great! Definitely will visit again.
Best breakfast sandwiches and coffee in the state.
I love this place for meeting friends or stopping for a latte to go. The lattes are drinkable right away, no need to wait for the espresso to cool. The counter help are friendly.
This was the 2nd stop on our Northeast Coast coffee tour. It was suggested by Kevin, the owner of Federal Inn. It did not disappoint! Me: “How many shots come in the large latte?” CMA: “However many you want…” Deal! 😂🙌🏻
Great coffee, delicious breakfast sandwiches (made quickly), extensive beer selection.
Hung out at the tables outside. Got to know everyone in town in less than an hour. Sandwiches were great.

Lots of beer fridges, good iced coffee with coffee icecubes, delicious pistachio muffin.
I needed both a breakfast and a lunch to go for my wife and me and they got all of them made up for quickly. It was person serving me that suggested to put the dressing for the sandwich on the side. That helped the sandwiches from getting soggy.
We love to go here regularly and get the coffee, tea and cocoa. The staff are really awesome and we love to sit in the windows on the fluffy leather couch and watch the people pass by. There's a warm, clean, cozy atmosphere and it's attached to a deli that has awesome sandwiches. There's a clean bathroom and gentle music. The walls feature local art for sale. If you're in the area, absolutely stop by and get a drink. They have mugs available for guests that sit and sip or paper cups and lids of you're heading out.
Just like Cheers. You can go every day and everybody knows your name.
Was dying for some caffeine on my way back to MA one weekend and stumbled across this gem. Fantastic espresso, cannot wait to be back 🤘🏻

We stumbled in Cafe Monte Alto's dark roast coffee 10 years ago and have been loyal customers ever since. The BEST we've ever had! Easy ordering and super fast delivery. We are total fans.
We were glad to find Cafe Monte Alto open on a cool Sunday afternoon. We enjoyed good coffee and good hot chocolate, and found some favourite candy and chocolate in the store section. Thank you!
