Fantastic shop! A great little find. So glad we looked around and came by. We stopped for breakfast and had fried eggs on focaccia bagel and a BLT - both were amazing. Ganache brownie was incredible. Amazing ladies running this bakery and so fun that it’s inside the country store and got to shop around and find so many great fun items, souvenirs, and nostalgic things. Keep up the amazing work and will happily return often!
Driving further up north, I passed by this establishment and thought it looked quite quaint and fun with its name. On my way south, I decided to stop in for some coffee, and boy, was I glad to do so! I hadn't realized they carried so many gifts as well as being a cafe. Service was friendly, and I absolutely cherished meeting Maggie, the shops 18 year old dog. Wow, what a feat that I love to see as a pet owner myself. The best part of my stop was the cinnamon bun. Biggest bun I've purchased yet. It was absolutely fantastic and well worth making the stop!! It was everything you could ask for in a cinnamon bun. External had a delicate crust, some parts gooey, soft internally with a wonderful texture. Cinnamon blend was perfect. Icing was generous, and it seemed that it had a hint of cream cheese in the icing. I typically refrain from cream cheese in icing and prefer vanilla, but this was such a hint of flavor that I greatly enjoyed eating it! Stop in, and you'll get a home run for aure!!!

You have to come here if you're in the area. Great sandwiches for breakfast or lunch. Awesome coffee! and best of all, you won't be able to leave without something sweet and you wont be disappointed. Also the employees are so amazing. 10/10!
My husband and I love Batter up! We are from RI and stop here every time we come up to NH. A must, if you love your pastries. I highly suggest the coffee buns!
As of now, this is the only photo of the dessert we have from our wedding on 11/19/22. Julie did our cake and put together an amazing assortment of mini desserts for our dessert bar. Everything was AMAZING. When I say there was nothing left over, there was nothing left over; Our guests raved about how delicious all the mini treats were. Good thing we did a tasting with her because we didn’t get to have any! We did traditional mini whoopie pies, apple crisp shooters, mini cannolis and two different types of mini cupcakes (banana caramel toffee & tiramisu). Our wedding cake was also amazing, she catered to our theme and did the impossible when I asked for a “reversed Boston cream cake”. Julie was also very communicative and after our first meeting with her, we knew we just had to go with her. I highly recommend Julie and her amazing talents- everything is just so tasty and presentable as well. Thanks again, Julie!!! We will be back up to visit and share pastries with you once again.
My favorite place in the area! They have an amazing gluten free bun option! Best gluten free option I've ever had! I worked at a camp nearby and came here to get the all meat gluten free sandwich every chance I got! The owners are super lovely and made me feel at home! Can not recommend this place more!! - Alex
Great sandwiches and pastries, and an amazing huge shop to peruse while you're waiting! My wife said the chocolate croissant was the best ever.

What an incredible dessert spread! Our guests were not only giving so many compliments to our baker, but also begging to take home the extras on the day of the wedding and the following morning!!! Thankfully we got to save about 15 for ourselves as well as our delicious cake. I can’t say thank you enough! It was delicious! The carrot cake shooters are perfect for an easy dessert!! You knocked it out of the park.
Fantastic and large portioned treats
Awesome, little hole in the wall with super cute general store attached. The breakfast was made fresh and tasted great. Kids got bagels and we ordered egg sandwiches with drinks $32 party cash and receive discount. Also a bakery which looked good. I will come again when I'm up here
Sadly Google this on our way home from North Conway The ice coffee was lukewarm ( hot coffee poured over ice that melted?) & no rest rooms. Why ? You serve food & drinks Feel bad I wish we just went to a coffee chain
I love this bakery! I go there every time I'm visiting my home town. In fact, I love it so much I asked Julie and her team to cater my wedding weekend. She provided breakfast the day before for early guests, lunch for the wedding parties the day of AND an amazing cannoli tower for our wedding dessert (we aren't cake lovers). Julie was so organized and thoughtful about my time. Highly recommend the bakery for a muffin in the morning or a giant tray of the lemon bars for a party. They can do it all! Thanks Batter Up!
This is my favorite bakery in the world. Some places make a couple of good things that they specialize in and the rest is just that. These ladies make EVERY SINGLE THING in their menu with pride and purpose as if every one of them is their specialty. DIVINE. Stop here anytime you're in the lakes region. Even if it's a little drive, it always worth it. Psss.... Try the lemon and blueberry bars..... Life changers.
Mainly get breakfast sandwich. It's always good and staff is fun. Weekly stop.
Julie made a fantastic cake for my daughter's graduation, as she has for our other parties and events. She's the best!!!
Wish i came here more often. Always seem to forget it’s here. Always good.
