Just FYI, the cafe and dining room are separate, with different hours. The cafe is only open until 10am. The lunch/dinner menu is limited but diverse. The least expensive meal item was $18. Several of the options were over $30, but the ingredients seem to be high quality. Even the appetizers were expensive but there's a lot of crab and shrimp, that sort of thing. I had the guda cheeseburger with bacon onion jam and aioli, and parmesan fries. It was very good and good portion sizes. I tasted a little of the beef patty by itself and it was good on its own as well. The fries were pretty basic but good, not super greasy or over salted/spiced or anything and they used fresh grated parmesan which was nice. The environment is very upscale and nice, but a lot of the customers were dressed casually so don't worry about 'dressing up' if you don't want to. the host and waitress were very friendly and helpful. The service was great.

The Pittman Cafe in the Hotel Mizpah will be a "Must Stop" every time we pass through Tonopah, NV. Can't say enough on how good the food, service, atmosphere, just how everything is there. We loved it! We spent another hour there just looking around the waiting area. Looked inside the Vault where they display a lot of the historical items from when they opened in early 1900's. Lots of other people were doing the same as we were. What a super place to visit!

I have lived in tonopah for 4 years now, and the Pittman Cafe was the best place in town to get a Burger. And the nicest restaurant to dine in. Prior to the change of menu the prices were already high for a small town. We went in tonight not expecting the change, we didn't hear much about it so we had no idea. First off, the prices are outrageous for this small town. We got the Bacon Jam Burger with Garlic Parmesan Truffle Fries which is now the only burger on the menu besides the kids cheeseburger. The meal was okay. The fries barely had any Garlic, parm or Truffle flavor. And the burger didn't have much flavor, there was barely any aioli on it, with a small amount of Jam. The most expensive burger they used to have on the menu had 2 massive patties on it and it cost $20, this new burger is $22 and the fries by themselves cost $10 . Now onto the service. The ladies were very kind, helpful and apologetic. 2 servers doing everything. Bussing their own tables, bringing out their own food and drinks, changing table cloths, etc in TWO seperate dining areas. Only 2 waitresses! With this only being day 3 of a new menu and having both sides open, you'd think there would be more help. We did Not see a Manager helping these girls. We ended up getting our "Starter" with our Entrees, and the food took quite a while to come out. Also. Every drink we got tasted horrible, this has been an ongoing issue for a while now when we’ve visited this restaurant. Maybe the ice maker or soda machine needs to be cleaned. With all of this considered it wasn't worth the price.

We ate at The Pittman several times during our week stay at the Mizpah. The food was incredible. The service was impeccable. The restaurant is clean. As someone who cooks all my meals I was pleased to have such delicious food available.

Ate dinner and breakfast here with 2 other people and we all finished our plates. Good stuff! My father really really liked his Eggs Benedict and Erin our breakfast server was very sweet and had very kind words for my Veteran father that made his morning.

Was a Friday evening, and we were the only people there. Usually I prefer places that seem to be driving more business. Prices a little high, but this is pretty far from larger towns, so I think that may account for pricing. Service was slower than expected for the low customer volume. Food was good overall. Seems this town is a service location for travelers from LV to north NV. Very historic looking facility. The restaurant is inside the Mizpeh Hotel.

This was a great place to eat with my wife. It was located in the Mizpah Hotel. Very nice historical hotel. The food was very delicious. The coffee was just right. The only downside is that the pancakes were non-fluffy and small for the $7 price. They did taste good though. Also, they charge you $3 for coffee.

It is hard to give details as I have been sitting waiting for over an hour, still no food. It is a charming, historic building. I just would not plan on a quick meal. A couple who arrived after us have just left without their food. A year later I decided to try again. Great service and excellent food. I highly recommend eating here now, at least for breakfast.

The fish from the fish & chips was one of the best I’ve had. Chips could be cooked longer though. Slaw sucked. Good service but food is over priced.

The food was delicious, perfectly cooked and didn't have to wait forever to eat. The salmon and veggies were great and the baked potato was giant. My kids got chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak, they ate every bite, and it was a lot! Definitely an oasis from the longest drive ever, the Extraterrestrial Highway.

Was a cool old building. But 2 stars for finding 2 hairs in the breakfast food.

Went in for supper. Got my table and menu. 14 mins later waitress takes my order. 12 mins my drink Coke arrives. Ordered the soup Clam Chowder for the starter 15 mins have went by since receiving my drink and almost 45 mins and still no soup. I got up and left. Will not recommend or be back. If a steak is gonna cost over $30 then the service should come with the price of the meal.
