I was looking for a local coffee joint as I drove through town and was drawn to this shop by the reviews. Well, they didn’t lie. The coffee was amazing and the staff was beyond friendly. If I drive through again you better believe I’m going coming back here!

I was traveling through the area and I wanted locally roasted coffee. The shop is great and the atmosphere is just what I was looking for. However, I had ordered an extra dry cappuccino and what I got was a full on latte. It’s sad that a lot of local coffee shops don’t know how to make espresso drinks. Extra dry means hardly any milk and mostly foam. Not 6 oz. of milk. I could not even taste the coffee and so I threw it out. It was undrinkable.

Excellent spot for an iced Americano, homework (free Wi-Fi), meeting friends, and enjoying the Lake Tahoe vibes. I also really like their decor inside and the cozy feel. Stopping by for coffee before a long ski day, or pre-boating-adventure in the summer, is my family's favorite things to start the day when they come visit this area. I am so glad Clyde's opened a coffee shop here -- exactly what we needed!

Probably best regular coffee in SLT! Service was lovely with a nice smile. Quick even with a line going up Kingsbury on a powder day. Wish I tried the food.. May just come to the Nevada side more often just for this coffee.

Clydes is a super cool local coffee spot in South Lake Tahoe!! From the expertly crafted coffee drinks, to the large variety of delicious pastry items, to the awesome merch and finally, to the unique and beautiful décor inside the shop, this place is IT. Highly recommend wether a local or a visitor to the area!

Editing my previous review: quality seems to have gone downhill very substantially - they gave me the wrong drink today and the other day my espresso tasted like dirty coffee water. Haven't had bad experiences before - wondering if it's a staffing problem.

Awesome little hole In the wall coffee spot with a cabin feel and home-e vibe. The staff was great and treated an out of towner like me with the upmost hospitality. I came back the next day with my cousin. Their scones are amazing.

Very decent, consistent, coffee. Friendly staff. Can be a little crowded but I'm sure that's a plus for the company.

Pains me to say this but this place serves $6.00 coffee in Nevada. An espresso shot is $3.75. I would always rather support a local coffee shop but when your cold brew is the smallest cup size and and half ice I have a tuff time with $6. Atmosphere is cool and what you would expect from a mountain coffee shop. I just seemed like a lot of drinks where expensive. And not worth even the short drive out of south lake

Very cozy atmosphere, staff was polite and welcoming for out of town folks like us! Happy that they had lots of milk alternative options. I got an Oat Milk Latte and it was absolutely delicious, you can tell they use premium coffee beans 🤗 we will be back!

If you are in the Tahoe area, this place is a must!! Our drinks were so good and the pastries were heavenly! Jalapeño cheddar bagel and a lemon poppyseed scone that was so fresh it it was even still warm from the oven! To top it off the staff was so friendly and made us feel so welcome. Can’t wait to come back here when we are back in town!
