There's a real sense of consistency and stability; also, family owned. It's usually busy since the food is great, but said atmosphere is calm and fairly quiet. It's definitely not a crash bang factory like some family restaurants. Oh, and although I'm not in that often, I'm greeted by name.

The home fries are awesome. Haven't had a breakfast here that I didn't like. Anytime we go to Reno in the morning we stop here for breakfast.
Delicious brunch spot with no wait time. Wait staff were friendly and fast with our food. Coffee kept topped off, and plates removed. The entire place was nice vibes for brunch.
They cater to big families or the solo diner. Great place to try if you haven't been!
Super friendly staff! Yummy food. Great coffee. Perfect start to my day. I ordered the French toast breakfast with sausage and eggs. Everything was cooked up to my liking and came out fast. I came in 30mins before they closed and the servers were more than happy to take care of me. Great dining experience. Thanks! I’ve gone back a second time since first writing this review. I went in on a Sunday morning and I’m sure the entire city of Reno And Sparks must have been there for breakfast! The food was still great as was the coffee, but wait time was pretty long. I was lucky to get seated right away because I was dining alone. Parties of 2 or more had 30mins wait times, some longer. It took quite come time to get my food. Fortunately I wasn’t in a hurry and didn’t mind the wait.
The lady was very nice but I asked her for dry toast she brought me toast that look like she put it in the toaster for 30 seconds I had to ask her to bring it back my hash browns were freezing they probably just warm them up for 5 seconds or they were sitting up on the counter my eggs were cold too I didn't say anything because my husband was enjoying his breakfast and didn't want to have anything back. I did ask her to redo my toast. We've eaten in Jack's before and it was very good I don't know what happened this time for $39 for a simple breakfast eggs toast hash browns coffee it should be warm I think.

Arrived for breakfast around 9am, was seated quickly. I ordered a Denver omlette with French fries, delish! Coffee was good, nice atmosphere.
The omelets are phenomenal! You can substitute high carb items for fruit or sliced tomatoes. The only issue we had was waiting 10+ minutes for a coffee refill, but our server did fix that issue. She didn't even charge us for the coffee, so I thought that was a nice way of apologizing. Overall, this is a nice local diner where you can sit and have breakfast with coffee in Sparks.
Everyone was nice and food was great. Our server was the sweetest!
