It was very good food but the service was slow. I had waffles, eggs, and bacon and I was not disappointed. My husband had a burger which was also very good. I like the fries the most.

This is a good local breakfast spot. If you can get past the area being in the hood- it’s yummy for your tummy. I never eat the hash browns at restaurants BUT the potatoes here are good! Come try it out :)
Great place to eat there was a Denny's across the street but we chose this because it was different great choice

Staff is wonderful, the food is great however the price seemed high for a cafe in a questionable neighborhood….the lean fruit with chicken was spectacular as was open faced turkey sandwich but a bit too much salt.
Biscuits and gravy tasted like chicken flavor Ramon noodles.

Jack's seems to be a locally owned family restaurant. It has a classic diner feel. The restaurant was clean. Our service was fast and cheerful. The food was incredible! Huge portions! We ordered waffles with strawberries (you can choose fresh or processed) and country fried steak with home fries, biscuits & gravy and 2 eggs. There was so much food, we could not eat it all. If I ever return to Reno, I'll be sure to eat at Jack's Coffee Shop again!

We were so happy to have something open in place of the old Carrows and were very pleasantly surprised at the menu variety and specials! Great service, too!
Was very disappoint. I ordered 2 Monte Cristo sandwich. Which came out to over $31. They were soggy. No raspberry jam. No powdered sugar. Just all around disappointing. The fries were the best part
