Was quite better a year ago. Lately the coffee has been consistently burnt. Baristas might need a little more training on how to pull shots (:
The coffeebar is a must have when visiting Reno . The staff is incredibly attentive and polite ,Truly a pleasant dining/coffee experience . Hands down the best coffee joint in Reno .
Always great! Their chai latte is one of the best
Excellent coffee! I like to go here when in Reno.
Good hang out spot. Garbage coffee. Why does a Gibraltar have so much foam? Coffee takes burnt and over extracted. Cannot taste any of the tasting notes. Edit: based on the response from Coffeebar. I’ve gone to Magpie since 2018 and I’ve always ordered a cortado and have never gotten foam that looks like this nor over extracted coffee and never needed to ask for my drink to be remade.
Excellent coffee, very good service, prompt. Pretty good selection of fresh baked goods, a great buzz in the place, with people meeting and chatting. Great art on the walls, and clearly has free Wi-Fi. Definitely would come back.
I love Coffeebar. I dislike that you discriminate against me. Read below.
Stumbled on Coffeebar on a walk, and decided to try it while waiting on service on a car and for Costco to open. Everything tasted good, the service was prompt and pleasant and the atmosphere was quiet. So nice for all those working or studying. Its a little out of the way for us, but anytime we're close, we'll stop in.
Great environment, friendly staff, and fantastic coffee and food.
The difference between the Mt Rose and S McCarron locations in Reno is huge. S McCarron is very nice, roomy, great food, generous portions and drinks. Mt Rose location was a total disappointment. Overpriced, tiny portions, terrible food and watery drinks. As if the cafes are not related at all.
I was recommended by a friend to try out Coffeebar's own fresh roasted coffee for my home espresso. I have made a few visits now to pick up beans and have had a few pastries and shots of espresso from Coffeebar. I'm digging it. The vibe, the Staff and the food is great. I will definitely be coming back again and again.
The service and the coffee were exceptional. My only complaint was the music selected was rock-based, too loud, and it wasn't easy to study and carry on a conversation.
I have to say I am not the biggest fan of coffee, but even I can tell that this place offers great roasts! The smell is just amazing inside and the crew seems to be very professional, so I had a good time here and even complimented the crew on the service which was first class, thanks again.
What is up with the breakfast burritos here? Comically small with very little filling. And for ten dollars? It’s a no from me dawg.
The atmosphere is great, but the coffee drinks are below average albeit their aesthetically pleasing appearance.
Use to be my go to but it’s been slowly declining. Pains me to write this but the service was terrible and coffee had to be re-made 3 times a was still incorrect.
Feeling so lucky to have this coffee shop in my neighborhood.
Good place to sit and chat, study, or work a bit. Good staff and pastries. Easy parking and usually has available seating.
Chill neighborhood vibe. Cheyenne was so friendly and welcoming.
Best breakfast burritos I’ve ever had. The indoor area is small and the tables are so close with each other, and sitting outside in the cold is not possible. But the burritos, brownies, and coffee is amazing.
