The motel is no longer in operation. Person working at the building said the owner is planning on turning the entire motel into apartments and rooms are no longer available.

The lady at the front desk was really sweet. I actually think they changed owners or something because I've stayed in the hotel a few times and it had new carpet & you can tell they were in the process of upgrading. You can also have dogs.. the only thing I did not like was the bathroom in room 14.. it seemed like there was nothing but some thin plywood or something between our room and the next one & that was a little unsettling BUT they had a huge smart TV and have always been accommodating to us.

Beyond gross. Owner and check-in person admittedly (I use this word advisedly) intoxicated. Worst place in two months of travel. I left after 10 minutes. Owner at least refunded money minus a service charge. I

Would never stay here again. I don't mind older, no-frills motels, and I like to support local businesses, but I cannot recommend this place. Just gross. When we arrived to check in, the woman at the desk said she was just finishing cleaning our room and once she got her cleaning stuff out of it, it was all ours. She was friendly and pleasant. The room was depressing, with a filthy carpet, old dirty wallpaper, cobwebs, and just sadness. I decided right away that I would always leave my shoes or flip flops on while in the room. When I went to use the restroom, I found the toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. Mold/mildew all over the inside of the bowl, and dust, lint, hairs on the rim. Disgusting. I walked back to the office to ask if she could please come back and clean the toilet. She cheerfully said, "Hard water -- gotta love it. I'll be right over." She was amiable and gladly came to clean it, but it was NOT a hard water issue. It was a this-toilet-hasn't-been-touched-by-a-cleaner-in-many-moons issue. I wish I had thought to take a picture before she cleaned it. We had already paid, and I didn't want to make a fuss, but we probably should have asked for our money back and gone to the Rodeway Inn down the road. Some other notes: Toilet is in a cramped nook and would be very unpleasant for larger built folks. Shower head came down to the bridge of my nose, so ducking under the water to rinse my hair in the small stall was awkward. I went through several Clorox wipes cleaning surfaces in the room. The bathroom sink and counter had visible grime on them. There were two remote controls, and wiping just ONE of them down turned the wipe totally brown. There was no trash receptacle anywhere in the room. No closet or hangers. No towel bars or hooks. There was what looked to be a squished bug on the ceiling, but we concluded it looked more like a bloody booger. Lastly, when we left and turned in our key around 10am, the man that took our key ap
