Great local place, huge portions and very fair prices. Highly recommend. If you are not a " local" a little hard to find, but well worth finding it! Fabulous breakfast..

George was an absolute pleasure to chat with and was incredibly hospitable! And this food! I got his hand breaded fried chicken sandwich and hand cut friend fries (all fried in non-hydrogenated oil btw!) For $8.95 And it was fantastic. My boyfriend had a breakfast dish and also loved it. They have intermittent hours during the winter and will be closed for the next few weeks, so definitely call before stopping by- but this is for sure an undiscovered gem and once they're fully open again you do not wanna miss it!!

Went to the Bison Cafe this morning for the first time. It has been there a long time. We were greeted by the owner. Had great food at a reasonable price. We will definitely go again.
I loved the food and atmosphere. They are great people and treat you like family. I love them and this place. You must try the fry bread indian taco and buffalo burgers. The potatoes soup is a must have as well. The food is all made from scratch so no commerical made products here. Stop in and have a bite to eat!
Really great spot! The server was very nice and attentive. The food was delicious and came out quick. Their fresh brewed iced tea was the cherry on top. Highly recommend!
After waiting 45 minutes to be seated at a chain restaurant in Missoula, we gave up and decided to find some food along our route. I'm glad we stopped at the Bison Cafe! It's small, but the food is amazing; I actually saw the server pick a fresh tomato off the plant outside for some guy's hamburger. My patty melt was absolutely perfect and totally hit the spot and the hashbrowns were top notch. Very friendly, very fresh, very good!
Delicious buffalo burgers. Husband and wife are great. This little restaurant also provides meals for our firefighters. They work hard to feed our hard workers. Stop in,eat good food. Support this business. You wont regret it.

Dont let looks be deceiving. This old diner served up fresh, hot and really good food! Glad we decided to give it a try on our road trip!

I had a cheese burger and fries they were good. My son had the Buffalo burger he said he would go back. The Huckleberry shake was great..nice and clean a little small but good food
