Let's start out by admitting I'm not one to go out for breakfast. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and hash browns. Wow.... the flavors of both were incredible. They used Texas toast for the sandwhich that was crispy and had a flavor in its own to the sausage, which was thick and two patties! Let's say this was not a McMuffin by any comparison. Then the hashbrows. They were awesome. Crispy, not greasy and cooked to perfection. Now, this is a small local cafe. If they are busy, I'd hang tight. Don't leave. They will get to you, and its worth the wait.

This was our 1st time here, and we will definitely be back! Chicken fried steak and hash browns were fabulous. The everything omelet was amazing! Huge portions. Fast and friendly service!

406 is the only place we stopped to eat in Lewistown and I'm so glad we did. Its a little corner spot my son told me about, he went to eat there with his boss. We're from WA state so it was so nice to feel welcomed when we walked inside. The server, I wish I got her name, went above and beyond with us, she was very friendly got us laughing a couple of times. If they had 10 stars I would totally give it just on her attitude. The food was incredible! The fries are to die for, tasted my husband's.. tater tots were perfect, crunchy and just enough seasoning. Prices were worth everything we got, big portions. Next time we go visit we're definitely going to stop there for breakfast and lunch. Unfortunately we didn't get breakfast there, but from what everyone says, it's worth it.

If you are in Lewistown, MT this is where you go to eat breakfast I highly recommend you will be back for sure!! The breakfast food was delicious big portions and great price.
Wish I had realized there is parking in back. Really enjoyed our meal (mushroom Swiss hamburger) awesome 👌

The specials are always delicious. Coffee is good no cream needed to hide bitterness. The omelets are covered in very good cheese. Come hungry and you will enjoy your experience.
First time eating there was pleasant. Burgers were delicious, the fries are how a diner should make them 🙌. Definitely stop by and have breakfast or lunch
The 406 burger with Pastrami was lights out.
We had great service by a nice young lady ,,,,,however I believe the other lady which is the owner was so disrespectful and rude to the young lady who took care of us,,,,we don't like people to treat there employees like that I can't remember her name but she was very busy and did a great job....

My boyfriend and I are were ready to eat but since we were flying his clients, we thought we would stop in and eat there since we Googled it and it “seemed good”. Well we had to wait to get seated, that took a minute but whatever. Not too friendly waitresses but again, whatever it was 2:30pm and we were now starving. It took to 3pm to take our order. Now i was turning into a Gremlin from waiting. Finally the waitress took our order and 30 minutes and still no food . Two people ahead of us, we got up and left! No COMMUNICATION, no bread on the table, totally ignoring us, we even had to get our own menu. We left when told that we’re two people ahead of us, was unacceptable and horrendous service!! Sorry didn’t cut it. It was obvious we were dressed to go to work and time was of the essence, but they didn’t communicate at all giving us a chance to perhaps go elsewhere.Next time I’m in Montana, that’s a place I will never visit!! Does not deserve not even one star! Another thing, have supplies! You need supplies and hire people! And yea it’s the one in Lewistown. We were flying out of there.I get there was a festival, but communication is key! Period.
