I went in to order a coffee and a hot chocolate for my husband. The barista told me she was not making hot chocolate and then slammed everything she picked up while making coffee. If you don't like your job, find one you like. No need for such rude employees. You are better off at any of the other coffee shops on Main.
Great place! Amazing coffee and snacks!
Beautiful park. Lovely, well kept grounds, playground for children, lots of trees supply much needed shade in the heat of the summer. Dogs were few and far between but the ones that we saw were off leash, under good voice control, and playing happily with their owners. At the end of the park is the cemetery which deserves a few hours even if you don't have a loved one to visit. I was struck by the sheer number of graves marked with fresh flowers. Not one or two, but dozens of red roses and multiple vases. This was apparent everywhere we went. All in all it makes for a lovely outing.
Relaxed environment, helpful and friendly staff, great coffee and their baked goods are all from sweet pea bakery! Awesome!
Good coffee, great location. The baristas are always really friendly, and the daily specials are a good deal!
Hours say they close at 6:30 pm today... I'm in the library and purposely waited until 6:15 to go down for a snack and the door was locked and the gal at the counter was closing out the till. If you are going to post hours, please stick to them ... I am guessing this was not an emergency situation. This is not the first time this has happened to me. I have bought about 20 drinks there and just the other day noticed that someone else used a punch card for their drink.... nobody will tell you they have those - it's up to you to figure it out. The coffee is never very hot as it is kept in those air pump thermos' instead of in a pot directly on a heat source. Customer service is severely lacking and I have watched one gal time after time not greet the customers or smile .... she just looks at them waiting to hear their order. The problem with hiring twenty somethings is that they have no concept of customer service and seem unable to engage anyone but a peer. I'll keep going there because its convenient when I am the library but it would be nice to seem some positive changes, especially HOT coffee.
