Delicious meal, highly recommend on this side of the park.
So good that I'm thinking about it months later. Some of the best quality and variety of food you can get in Glacier, and trust me I tried alot of places. Everyone working there including the owners are great people that will make you wanna come back. The desserts are unparalleled, with a different cake every day that made me actually like cake. Everything in this area costs more because of how much it costs to ship fresh food and whatnot, but I appreciate their price for memorably delicious food compared to other restaurants with similar rates that have left me feeling underwhelmed and still hungry. Excited to work inside the park again this summer so I can return here!
The day I came in I was craving chicken alfredo sooo badd and it just so happened to be one of their daily specials they were offering and I loved every moment of it! The servers were always fun and amazing. The vibe of the restaurant is really cool, it was a great place to eat great food and just sip on a beer after a long day at work. 😊
Visited two sisters a lot in 2015, and 7 years later I still think about this place. While working for glacier, this was the only stop nearby we were able to enjoy. I hope I make it back one day 💜
1st the Great. Funky and unique atmosphere. Also some of the best service I have had in a long time and I eat out a lot and all across the country. Hats off. Food was marginal and way way overpriced. It's diner food at best. I'll compare it to Black Bear Diner, which has more food, better quality, and about half the price. Black Bear started in a small, country town, in a small cafe in Mt Shasta, CA too before everyone rushes to judgement so it's about as equal and fair of a comparisonas you can get. I'm not saying don't eat here. Just setting expectations. My opinion.
It was off season but the food was sub par, definitely felt like a tourist trap. Quiet costly for the quality of food. Loads of flys inside the restaurant. The huckleberry shake was the best thing we got. Way overpriced, presentation was alright, all around it was meh. Would not return
Our of four people only one of our orders was OK. As someone who used to work on a dairy farm and is used to flys there were a lot of flys inside the restaurant and bathroom was pretty bad. Can’t order separately has to be one ticket and anymore than 6 people they will charge you an extra 18%. I had the trout and waffles witch was ok. The chicken fried steak was tough and almost no veggies for both our friends.other friend order the falafel and he didn’t even eat half of it before asking to get it away. Was charged 120$ for poor food and poor eating space. This is a tourist trap there are better restaurants the west side of glacier would recommend taking the extra time to go there. Would not eat here again even if I was starving. Also I’ve traveled around the country and this is the only negative review I have ever written
Called to check for pricing before heading over since it isn’t listed online. Got hung up on. Then drove over to check myself and got told they don’t do food to go. For being one of the only restaurants for miles you think you could put food in a box. Terrible service and business model but if you’re all that’s available I guess people will eat there.
Excellent menu. Must see if in the many glacier area. The bone in pork shank is to die for. The hummus plate was spot on. Unique atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Good food, very friendly, great price
A very busy place . Was good to find.
The best place to eat in Glacier. We visited here twice and had the same meal both times as it was just superb. Tuna with asian cold noodle salad. Too die for.
My favorite meal near Glacier National Park. Great pie and lots of variety on the menu. Solid menu for kids, too. I had fried trout and waffles with huckleberry syrup. Interesting twist on a southern favorite that I enjoyed very much.
The owner was very friendly. Wish I could give more stars. We ordered two to go desserts and they were absolutely terrible. We had been hiking all day too so would not have been hard to please us. Maybe they're way better if you order them there?? I guess avoid to go orders if at all possible.
My girlfriend and I had dinner here after a beautiful hike through the park. The atmosphere was welcoming and fun, and we were seated right away. Our server, Clancy, was friendly and knowledgeable and gave us awesome recommendations. We started with the Tomato Pesto Cauliflower, followed with the Bison Bolognese and the Mediterranean Platter. And finished with their Huckleberry Milkshake. Everything was delicious I will absolutely eat here again next visit!
I am a little confused as to why people are giving this restaurant positive reviews. They are defiantly profiting from being one of the few places open in the area. My friend and I had dinner there and it was one of the most expensive meals we have ever eaten out as well as one of the least appetizing. I don't think there was seasoning on either the trout or tofu we ordered. The service was subpar at best. Our server rolled her eyes when we asked if the trout and waffles could be on separate plates. I was a little shocked to receive that response. The huckleberry icecream was pretty good.
Best place to eat on the east side. We went two nights in a row. The food, drinks, and dessert are all great. We had the Red Burger, Bahn Mi, Huckleberry Mountain brownie, and so many huckleberry margs which were the best I’ve had so far in Montana.
I went in having GREAT EXPECTATIONS BUT this place failed in every aspect except friendliness. I got the "special" some beef caldro it was basically way over priced 22.00 for beef soup with no taste and about 4small pieces of meat. It was served lukewarm and I basically didn't eat it. The jalapeño biscuit was cold but delicious. Because I barely ate anything , I ordered the cake of the day chocolate hazelnut....it came icebox cold tasted frozen and was totally dry. After hearing so many good reviews I was excited about trying this place and was totally disappointednot worth the money I paid.
We ate here twice on our visit to Glacier. The food and service were very good both times. We especially appreciated the atmosphere. Every staff person with whom we interacted seemed to be enjoying themselves. In the midst of serving, they had fun working together and it showed. Kudos to the owners and staff.
Nice little restaurant. Ordered the Flatbread with Italian sausage and the a brownie with huckleberry icecream for dessert. Our waiter was great and we didn't have to wait to long for food :)
