This place is so cozy and so welcoming! The food is really good! I had the chicken fried steak and hubby had the breakfast platter and the portions were huge and so filling! One of the best chicken fried steaks I've ever had! The breading was so crispy and was a perfect contrast for the creamy gravy. The hash browns were so flavorful and the eggs were cooked perfectly! And the service!! Lacey was so bubbly and friendly and you could tell she had a great relationship with her regulars and was just as welcoming to us newcomers. We will be back soon! Update: everytime we've been back they've been friendly, courteous, and have served delicious food!!
Food cooked fresh and the staff are nice. You can not beat this down home Cafe.
The couple that own the cafe are very friendly and love to visit. The food is good and served to order. We have been here twice and we're pleased both times.

I have found the food to be excellent and freshly made! I think that contrary to a previous review that said that the food wasn't fresh was petty and disingenuous! The person who did the negative criticism wasn't well informed or maybe had a grudge against people for misconstrued slight against him. Don't trust the previous review!
Food is ok nice people that own it sometimes people don't understand that more of the food could more home made instead coming out of a box

I love this place. You feel like you are 'at home'. Lacey and Todd (the owners) make everyone feel welcome. We look forward to coming back every year. Oh, by the way, the food is very good and the portions do not disappoint.
