Wonderful service, flavorful + balanced espresso, flaky + buttery pain au chocolate - just didn’t realize the seating would be a choice between a noisy indoor space or outdoor space right by the highway… we were kinda hoping for a restful morning with a book and while the coffee is excellent, this ain’t that.

Good location. Great coffee. Tasty pastries. Friendly staff. Nice space to enjoy it all. What more can you ask for from a coffee joint?

I love the croissants here, but the parking and entrance is a little difficult to navigate. However, pastry wise you almost can't go wrong. There is a specials menu with rotating items which I love to try new things from. It's worth the headache of the parking lot.

This is by far one of my favorite coffee joints in STL. The baristas are always on their game. Excellent choice of locally roasted beans. I'm not usually a big fan of pour overs - they are one of the few places I've been that nail them. But none of that is the purpose of this review. I'm here to talk about their beyond-phenomenal pistachio croissants. It's what you would get if a croissant hooked up with a piece of baklava. Truly delicious. I'm embarrassed my photo doesn't do it justice.

Great bear claws and chocolate croissant. Coffee is perfectly made every time! Some new items lately and they slap hard 🔥🔥 Gotta try the twice baked croissant (drool)!! Lots of options for Vegetarian’s and anti-milkers too.

Very popular and for good reason. They have a wide variety of coffee and tea drinks, plus pastries that are delicious. On the weekends be prepared to wait in line, but it moves quickly.

I had the best cup of coffee (Kenyan) I have ever had in my life here. I was told it was the best coffee in St. Louis (and it is) but it goes beyond that. The croissants are also great.

Smaller coffee shop but feels like a gem in the area. Coffee and pastry were great and staff were polite.

This place is a must do if you are in the St. Louis area. I was in the St. Charles area but worth the drive. In my humble opinion, the best blueberry muffins I have ever tasted. Now, be sure to come early as those don't last very long as the supply is limited. Friendly staff and excellent coffee. At least both of the lattes I had were excellent (both hot and one decaffeinated and the other caffeinated).

Had a patient bring me a croissant one morning from here. Omg it's as if I've never had a croissant before. It was amazing

Good coffee with lots of options, and one of the best gluten-free cookies (made with almond flour) that I’ve ever had. Nice atmosphere too, will definitely return.

Best coffee in St Louis for sure. I typically order a pour-over and buy some nice beans to take home! It’s always been pretty busy when I’ve gone and they have limited seating, so I wouldn’t recommend this place for studying for long periods of time, but if you care about really good coffee, this is the place to go!!

Great cappuccino! Nutty flavor to the espresso, on the strong side, but not as harsh and acidic as a cheap espresso like “SB.” A cappuccino is my go to drink for first visits to a coffee shop because it allows me to taste the espresso and see how they treat their milk. Comet nailed it. They were out of small cups but still put the proper amount of milk in the large cup. Some large chains that will not be named just top off the cup assuming that I would always just want a larger cup. Comet cares about the ratios. Well done folks.

Gluten free (almond flour) chocolate chip cookies are incredible here. The owner is fantastic, employees are always so sweet. I've only ever had the chai (not a coffee fan) but it was delicious. But by far the reason I come here is for the cookies and they are the best I've ever had.

I always fill up on my whole bean supply from here. They make a great latte, and their micro bakery items are tasty too. Hard to find places that do coffee and food well 🔥

I really couldn't select any appropriate answer because I wasn't even waited on after standing there for nearly 5 minutes at the counter. I realized they have all the customers they need in their content with there's status. I'd heard from a good friend who knows I like blueberry muffins that I should try the ones that Comet Coffee. I went and excited to purchase one but after standing there unnoticed easily 3 to 5 minutes the cashiers seemed engaged in such leisurely and entertaining conversations with the customers in front of them who seem like maybe regulars that I wasn't even noticed or acknowledged and I finally felt offended by it and left. I consider myself a friendly polite and cordial person and felt I just wasn't worth spending the $350 on a blueberry muffin if I wasn't even going to be acknowledged as a customer.
