Great new spot for very authentic Mexican coffee and food. The barista who took our order was very patient, walked us through the menu, and even gave us some tastes of the cafe de Olla coffee when we asked about it. The house coffee was smooth, unique, and flavorful and so was the cappuccino. We ordered the Enfrijoladas and Tlacoyos and they were both fantastic (we liked the Tlacoyos the most). Staff was super friendly and educational. Food came out quickly, though they were not crazy busy while we were there. Will definitely be back!
Met a friend for brunch and we enjoyed ourselves. The food was flavorful and a good portion size so I didn't leave feeling hungry. I'm not a coffee drinker however the café olla with a splash of milk was quite nice. They have a variety of coffee based drinks as well other drinks that looked intriguing so I will definitely go again.
I enjoyed my experience at Brew Tulum! Almost all the food, beverages, and desserts on their menu is traditional Mexican food from the Yucatán, Mexico, which I have missed soooo much since my last trip to the Yucatán, Mexico. The food was amazing, they offered a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the owner was enjoyable to talk to. This was my first time at Brew Tulum but it will not be my last!
Staff was Extremely overwhelmed juggling everything. Not enough staff for the amount of orders. I waited 30-40 minutes for my one coffee which was ok. Wish I didn’t waste my time here.
This cafe is wonderful, it felt like we were on vacation far from St. Louis. The menu has unique coffee and food options that were delicious. It was a great spot to escape to.
Amazing food in a super cool place!
It makes me sad we had such a rough experience here because we’ve gone to the one in Tulum and it was amazing! We were not greeted at all when the 4 of us came in. We weren’t sure if we were supposed to grab a table ourselves or wait. No one would make eye contact with us, so we couldn’t even ask. So we grabbed the only table available (which was dirty). After a few minutes of sitting, our server came over and told us to stand up so she could wipe down the table… she brought water but no cups. The coffee was fast and very tasty! Our food took an hour and 15 minutes to arrive. Two of us were missing silverware and we had to get up to ask for it. Unfortunately, the food was luke warm and there was a hair in my taco, as well as in the honey jar. Our server was very nice and helpful, but overall it was not a great experience. I understand it was a busy day (Saturday), but knowing it's a busy day, it should be properly staffed to meet the needs of the customers coming in. We will definitely give this place another try because the food was tasty… I just really hope it’s a better experience next time.
Absolutely wonderful place! The coffee is extra special and the food is so fresh and authentic. The handmade corn tortillas and Mexican casserole was delish as well as the sopes. The dirty golden milk with espresso, coconut milk, and turmeric was heavenly. The owner is so warm, welcoming, personable, and busy working hard to please all the customers. Very highly recommended!
This was the second time I went there, after trying their breakfast casserole the first time I was craving it something fierce. Food was on point again and I tried a sweetened iced coffee with rosemary that was so good.
Fantastic coffee, and fantastic food. Not that I am an authority on it, but the Enfrijoladas tasted very authentically Mexican. Don't go here for Americanized Mexican.
Upon entering, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere, complete with colorful decor. There's a great selection of Mexican-inspired dishes to choose from and great to share. And of course, the coffee is the star of the show. My favorite is Cafe de olla, infused with pure cacao, cinnamon, cardamom and piloncillo and their fresh-roasted coffee. You can also order online now which is great!
Great huevos rancheros, chill vibe
This was by far the best coffee and coffee experience I have ever had. Highly recommend doing one of there coffee experiences.
I came in today to try out their coffee and, Wow! I was absolutely amazed at the level of care and quality that goes into each of their drinks! I didn't get any food today but will definitely be going back to try some as the whole place smelled so good once everyone else's food started coming out! They have one of my favorite cappuccinos in the city! Definitely go here!
The emoladas are delicious.
I’ve been wanting to try this place since I first learned of it, and it not only met my expectations but far exceeded them! Between my partner and I we tried the café de olla, citrus zest, cazuelas, tlacoyos, and atole and every single item was fantastic. The service was attentive and informative and just overall lovely. The handmade nature of the food and beverages means it might take a bit, but it’s entirely worth it. I’m more than mildly obsessed with this place after my first visit and it will definitely be a “must do” for any out of town visitors!
This place is new and so cute, food looked and smelled amazing. There coffee and teas are amazing, authentic and exotic.
Breakfast was delicious. Best Mexican food I've had in STL, not too spicy but very flavorful. Only regret I have is not going sooner.
I went there to meet up with some friends, after an hour we asked how our order was coming along and we’re told it hadn’t been started yet. After an hour and a half we left, no one got their drinks except for water and the order was still not started. Horrible service. We ended up going to salt&smoke and that food was delicious.
This is truly a specialty coffee experience. Heard about this business through Yelp. The owner is so kind and this place is Thoughtfully designed for multiple audiences - remote workers wanting a break from the house, parents w young kids who want a chill quiet place w space for little run to walk without disturbing or too busy of an atmosphere and anyone wanting to experience Mexican coffee culture and learn about coffee making process and also folks wanting a unique delicious cup. My peanut butter candy coffee was delicious. I also have to note I didn't get the caffeine headache I've been getting from other places when I drank coffee here. The server was so kind and they are great at answering all questions. Come before 2p to enjoy their extensive menu. The area in back is great for parents SAHM or SAHD who wants a break from the house - the owners have a toddler I heard and I can tell they designed the back to be toddler safe ( which is to say not too many things you have to rescue from your kids eye level). There is also a gift shop up front with the cutest authentic Mexican clothing and hats.
