We came out today to eat on the patio and got blessed by Ms.Diamond as our waitress. She was as amazing as the food! So kind and attentive! Ran around for us getting extra sauce and waters! She said she was new, and you’d have never guessed! She was on it! The food was so good but she really made the meal for us with her kindness!

Love this place! Found it when walking around about a year and a half ago and it was great. Came back when we were back in town again. Sadie was our waitress and she was the sweetest! The environment here is very chill and relaxing. Coffee and food was great! The artwork on the walls definitely gives the place some character. Will definitely come back next time I’m in town!
I’ve been coming here for many years and there food is always the best!!! Especially on the weekends like Sundays with my family. I always get the usual Turkey bacon egg croissant with cheesy hash browns and coffee. Friendly staff and a great cook. I live in the area so city folks are always the best! It’s based in a good neighborhood and lots of historic houses. You can eat inside or outside both are great. Definitely worth it. Photos are from a recent take out order!!! They are the BEST!!! We had breakfast at this fine establishment twice on our trip to St. Louis - so glad we found it. Our server was friendly and efficient. The food came out quickly and it was delicious. Love the place. We will be back.
At 1 point it was hit or miss im not sure what the cook situation is but I feel like when they get better or getting the food out quicker and still hot it’ll be 5stars
My office is directly across the street from this café and I’m thrilled to have it as a neighbor! On more than one occasion, I have come in for both breakfast and lunch, and I’ve been known to visit on the weekends for brunch as well! The food is consistently wonderful, the staff friendly and proficient, and the time spent waiting for food has yet to feel like it’s dragging on in any of my many visits. Given my fondness (and the fondness of many of my colleagues) for their food, I recently reached out to them to ask if they could cater an event for my office . The response was swift, the price astonishingly fair, and the result made me look GREAT to our guests as well as the higher-ups in my company who attended. If you’ve been on the fence about giving this place a shot, I hope this review knocks you off it and that you land in one of their seats for your next meal!
Such a disappointment. We used their online "join waitlist" and it said we were second in line. Drove over to find that there was a 45 minute wait. It was Sunday at brunch time so the place was busy but after we were seated, the server forgot us, 15 minutes after we ordered we had no drinks, didn't get napkins, everything was a frustration for her. The french toast must have been made with stale bread because the edges were so hard they couldn't be cut. The biscuit and gravy tasted "off" and the biscuits were hard as rocks and totally dry. The bacon wasn't cooked through and tasted raw in parts. We actually all left hungry. I've heard great things about this place and we really wanted to like it but this was a huge disappointment. I gave two stars because everyplace has an off day and it was a busy time.
Loaded potatoes are worth the trip ALONE. I love the pancakes and the Benton Park blend coffee is something I missed while it was closed. Staff is a little inattentive or they’re understaffed.
Amazing food, service, atmosphere…I am currently 7 months pregnant, good food doesn’t go unnoticed. Benton Park Cafe had the best Slinger (BP slinger) I got mine with potatoes and sausage gravy, the gravy was delicious. My boyfriend got the breakfast pizza and it was absolutely delicious. The crust, the cheese, the sausage. Our drinks were even notable, the smoothie was fresh and delicious and they have some of the best coffee around. Adding BPC to my regular breakfast spots list. Bonus; it’s a Monday and they’re open!!!

We just had lunch here and sat outside at one of their patio tables. Michael was our server and he could not have been more accommodating since I had some dietary restrictions. First of all their coffee is great. My turkey club was piled high with fresh turkey breast. My husband's California omelette was delicious and their fruit cup had five types of ripened fruits. They served a fresh glass of water with a cucumber wedge on the rim. And their restroom was extremely clean as well as the indoor restaurant. They're located on a corner in a non-busy area with a neighborhood feel. And there's new construction across the street. I highly recommend.

My husband and I just ate at Benton Park Cafe. When I tell you it’s the best breakfast pizza I’ve ever had it’s the truth! The pizza was flavorful and it just melted in my mouth (it had cheese in the crust 🔥)! We also got the biscuits and gravy! The gravy was sooo good! The biscuit was a little firm for my liking, but still good though! It come with hash browns and they had cheese in them, very flavorful! I’ll be back! I also recommending this place to everyone! ❤️
I’ve been a long time lover of the original Benton Park Cafe at the old location across from Gus’s pretzels and since they’ve moved around the corner it has changed slowly. Had a small family group in from CA and thought this would be the perfect taste of breakfast in STL. New ownership and no more $5.00 bloody marys and actually no alcoholic drinks anymore! Hash brown casserole was not fully cooked which I sadly raved about to everyone. Apparently they are working on getting a liquor license which is hard to believe because how did they loose it or why is it so difficult to attain when they had it all along? Also if you get seated in the back room beware of the 2 bathrooms where the doors do not shut automatically and when people come out the door stays wide open, extra yumminess anyone? They should put door hinges that close right after guest walk out.
First time visitor atmosphere was beautiful service was impeccable servers helpful only reasons for not all stars with food , they forgot my fruit bowl I ordered but I plan on visiting again Thanks for the hospitality
We ordered coffee and breakfast tacos on Monday. The tacos were completely unseasoned and the potatoes it came with were raw.
So glad to have Benton Park Cafe back. Took my 2 kids, 11 and 8 here after a hike today. They LOVED the food (Heft lefty pullednpork sandwhich was especially good) and smoothies and the staff was extra kind to them. Taking the time at the end of a very busy day to really connect with them. You could sense the pride they had in delivering the food as well. Way to go guys!
