Stopped in for a few mimosas and some breakfast on Memorial Day. Busy as hell and the staff were absolute professionals. Phenomenal food, drinks, and service. Will never come to Springfield without stopping here again.
Always enjoy eating here. Appreciate they have Vegan options. Food is very good.
A cool atmosphere and staff that is hopping. The food was well worth the trouble finding a parking spot downtown. Delicious comfort and good strong coffee. I highly recommend.
The food and service are excellent. We had waffles, eggs, ham, biscuits, and gravy. Everything was made with love! Our wait person was Alex and he was really good. We will be going back for more when we're in town.
Food great, love the art! Last time I was there was probably 10 years ago and still great!
Enjoyed a great mother's day lunch with family. Everyone got something different and each was delicious.
A staple downtown breakfast eatery that should be on everyone's sorry list for great food. Expect a small wait in the weekends but a wait well worth your time for one of the best brunches in Springfield.
I've been able to visit a couple of times & have enjoyed each. The servers are kind & the food has been delicious!
We visited during peak weekend breakfast hours with our little ones. We waited about five minutes to be seated and around 40 minutes to receive food after ordering. Our server was great and attentive when we needed drink refills. They had beautiful artwork on display throughout the wide open dining space we sat in. We ordered: 1. Ozark Benedict - I ordered the eggs over medium (cooked perfectly), and the gravy was well seasoned. The sausage wasn't anything special but was prepared well. The biscuit was also pretty good. (4/5 🌟) 2. Hasbrowns - these were 🔥. (5/5 🌟) 3. French toast - prepared well, but was a standard French toast. This dish was missing a crispy texture and came out little lukewarm. (3/5 🌟) 4. 🥞 - these were pretty good our little one enjoyed. (4/5 🌟) 5. 🥓 - wasn't fresh. (3/5 🌟) 6.🍓 🧇 - the person who ordered didn't like it as it came out cold. (1/5 🌟) 7. ☕️- tasty breakfast coffee, we enjoyed. (4/5 🌟) I would visit again, maybe during a slower time.
Busy Saturday brunch, waitress was so edgy and nice, short staff in kitchen but the team was all on the same level, working hard with their heads down. Fresh coffee, food is always satisfying when I go. Plus, pitcher mimosas💯 👍👍💯
A Springfield classic. You simply haven't actually been to Springfield until you have had breakfast at Gaileys. Yes they have booze.
I used to love going here, for the food quality, and atmosphere at a reasonable price. I was back in town and hit up Gailey's. This time, I got a skillet that didn't include toast or eggs, and had tiny bits of turkey bacon so small I didn't taste it, for $20. If I had wanted a side of eggs and a coffee, my bill with tip would have been almost $30. I know there's been some inflation but not 30-40%! Come on guys.
We came up from Branson for a doctor's appointment, but we we will be making special occasion trips back to Gailey's. This place was stupendous! Service was beyond exceptional. The food was delicious. And how do you argue with a flight of mimosas?! It was love at first bite for us at Gailey's. The rethinking of southern comfort food was incredibly well thought out and executed. There are so many choices we have to come back and sample more! Well done!
This was our first time there and was not impressed. We ordered Breakfast and the gravy on the biscuits was warm not hot, the scrambled eggs were fried eggs then chopped up into pieces. The waitress only came to the table once and we had to ask for coffee refill after half way through our meal and cups had been empty for awhile. The portions of our meal was very good but for $50+ for 2 meals and my son only ordered an appetizer. Don't think we will be going back.
It was our first time there, and the food was excellent. And it had a nice atmosphere and the waitress. It was her first day to get a good job. We will go back.
Top notch breakfast. Simply awesome. They’re Bloody Mary was excellent. Service was great and the restaurant is beautiful. Highly recommend! Put this place on your to do list if you want a great breakfast!
We decided to try Gailey’s for brunch and I’m so glad we did. My son ordered the Bear Hug and I ordered the Slentz Bowl. Both were delicious! I can’t say enough good things about those fluffy biscuits and gravy! Our waiter was also friendly and attentive.
it is a nice place... ate here many first in the past, love the expansion... as far as the meal, i got the Tommy Skillet 🍳 with biscuits and gray, the menu does not mention the cheddar cheese, so after getting that straightened out-the Skillet was eh... the biscuits and gravy were ok, as i have said many times ''Hardee's are better '' as far a service... Tracy does a great job...
Gailey's is a total winner - lucky got parking quick - did the waitlist - walked in a seated right away - noisy wonderful downtown what more could you ask for - got an eggtordinary omelet yummmmm awesome service and a great price at least 5 star - best in Springfield
