Fantastic food! Portions are truly amazing and generous. Gravy and biscuits were spot on and the service was absolutely great! Plus don’t miss taking home a slice of the strawberry pie! Can’t wait to come back this way to indulge!
My favorites is the pork tenderloin sandwich pecan 🥧 all are excellent. Wonderful menu and desserts.🍨 🥧
Coffee was hot and fresh, service was good, but my food was chilly, scrambled eggs were crispy 🤢, and the prices have gone up. That wouldn't be such an issue but 3 people having a mediocre breakfast shouldn't cost 70 bucks before tip. Next time I'll just sit in line at The Big Biscuit.
Food still good, prices increased more than $2 per item this month. No longer a reasonable price place to eat.
Thank you Independence Corner Café! on Wednesday 05-24-2023 my step son graduated from the police academy and we took him and the family out for a celebratory dinner. we first went to Buffalo Wild Wings asked for a table for a party of nine. We waited a bit and the host came back to say we only have two servers and they are stressed out and we will not be able to serve you this evening. While i appreciate their honesty Buffalo Wild Wings should have put up a sign or closed their doors for the evening. We went to Corner Café, they seated us immediately our server was fantastic and pleasant and the food was amazing. Thank you again for hosting us for our celebration of our sons wonderful achievement. P.S. we even had a hangry 3 year old with us. the hostess was king and gave us packages of crackers to tide the hungry young man over until dinner came. 🥰
Had a lovely family get together and meal. Terrific waitress and service! Good food.

Tried this location after attending a college graduation, first service was top notch Second food was excellent (still thinking about that recommendation of banana split pie) Third would definitely go back
It was insanely busy this morning, but we got in fairly quickly, and our server was so sweet and attentive!
Wonderful staff, great food and a welcoming fun atmosphere. Kid friendly as well. The strawberry pie is so delicious! Give it a try.

So the other day I went here for the first time in 5 years. And let me tell you, things have changed a lot. They were good before, but now they are awesome. We ordered a cinnamon roll as an appetizer and it was huge and delicious. I ordered a meat lovers omelette and was blown away. Will be back soon. 10/10
Had a very nosey customer lady behind us, literally standing and leaning over our food looking at it while it was on the server's tray. She did this nearly the whole time it was on the tray, examining each plate. While she was serving our food. Then hovered over our food, not even a foot over my shoulder asking us what we ordered with a finger on her chin as if trying to decide what she wanted to eat. It was very awkward and creepy for all of us. 😶 Service however was excellent, and the waitress got a nice tip from me. Date we visited was May 7th 2023 during lunch time. We sat in the silo section, with all my sisters and mom, plus two extra ladies.
Took our grandson to dinner. He wanted some chicken livers and we knew where to go. Great food. Excellent service.
First of all, they were busy, so I tried to give them leeway, but it wasn't good. I ordered a Belgian waffle, which came out soft and so cold the butter on it refused to melt. The plate was hot as hell, so I thought I'd spread it on the waffle and turn it over to melt the butter. Nope. Plate had somehow cooled to below butter melting point . I tried, but just couldn't eat it. I had also ordered peach cobbler, which also came out cold. No light and flaky crusts here, just two thick slabs of crust, on top and bottom. At least the flavor was good. Not sure how, the piece I had, had mostly congealed clear filling and barely any actual peaches. This was my first time at this location, and the manager did remove the food from our bill, I may give it another shot on a less busy day.
We went here on Sunday for lunch. We were seated immediately but waited 17 minutes before seeing the waitress. We ordered our food at it was 22 minutes before receiving it. I ordered a burger with grilled onions and onion rings. The grilled onions tasted off and the onion rings tasted like old grease. I ate less than half the burger and 1 onion ring and left the rest on my plate. The waitress came back once to bring the check. I was disappointed at the lack of service and the fact she never came back to the table to make sure everything was all right. I don’t know if we’ll be back.
The tenderloin sandwich was very bland, mostly breading. The onion rings had no seasoning at all. No flavor. The desserts were good but very small pieces of cobbler and pie.
Great chicken fried steak, quality breakfast, and great service, impressed with waitress who was extremely busy but still provided good service with a smile.
Pass this place several times a week for years. Finally tried it for breakfast and was not disappointed! Wonderful service and delicious food!
They always give super friendly service. Some servers are much more attentive than others. The food is normally very great especially they're desserts! On my birthday they even gave me a free piece of cake with my meal. The only food I seem to have trouble with them getting correct is grits and I'm not sure why lol. I live that they serve breakfast all day, and that they even have No Sugar Added desserts and they're delicious! Overall a great place to eat in a friendly environment. I went into labor during breakfast a week ago and they quickly helped pack my food, gave me a piece of pie, and wished me luck with having my baby! It was so sweet and kind and I highly recommend them!!
