Great local café with a huge variety of choices. The bakery items NEVER disappoint. Only reason I gave service a 4 star is due to the time it takes to get your order even just bakery items. But I'll take waiting for my food knowing it's made fresh anytime.

If you are in Hillsboro, stop and eat at Cool Beans! The food is always delicious and they have great coffee! The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, and the staff are so friendly and nice.

Mixed emotions, but am open to going back. *Buffalo Chicken Sandwich tasted fine, but the shredded chicken had a canned feeling to it. A microwaved vibe, not fresh. *Ham & Cheese was good. It was a bold move to have pineapple on the sandwich w/o any warning or indication it was. *Blueberry muffie was gross! It was like the texture of a Crepe… *Raspberry muffin is easily in the top 5 muffins I’ve ever consumed!
What a nice place. Good food, breakfast and lunch. Coffee shop vibe and small town Cafe. Would go back.

This is hands down the best cafe in the area! What a gem! The prices are reasonable and the food is outstanding! The staff knows and cares about their customers; all I have to do is call and they'll have my chai tea latte waiting at the door! I proudly recommend Cool Beans to anyone looking for a good restaurant in Jefferson County! Now I only wish they'd open an affiliate branch at the College! : )

Love this cute little cafe. The menu is similar to panera but a little less expensive. My most recent visit consisted of an iced tarimsu latte and Chipotle sandwich. I recommend both as well as their greek salad.
