Great service MOST of the time.
First experience was phenomenal.
Don’t order from here on Door Dash or carry out. They do not honor what you order. For a Baker’s Dozen they advertise a specific combination of bagel flavors, not customizable, which I settled for, and they did not deliver the best parts (chocolate chip, cinnamon raisin), instead substituting for original. That was the whole point of the order. They could have at least told me they were out but nothing was communicated. It’s also more expensive than Bread Co. I should’ve ordered from there.
Excellent food, but breakfast sandwiches are a little too pricy for me so I skipped that. I bought a bunch of bagels though with their schmear spreads. Yum
Bought the Texas brisket egg sandwich. I didn't received Chedder cheese or smokey Chipotle aioli. I was just a bagley egg an pork..
Staff was awesome and helpful in getting a large order together for a company conference. We got coffee, assorted bagels, schmear, and all on the spot. Will definitely be going back when the staff wants breakfast.
There's no tables. You can't sit inside.
I ate lunch here today. It was just an awful experience all the way around. There wasn't a single table in the the dining room. When I asked why. The answer was, I don't know. The restroom was filthy. We ordered 2 sandwiches and headed to the car to sit down and eat. I realized neither sandwich had a spread on them. I went back inside and was charged $1.90 for each single serving spread which should have been on the sandwich to begin with. Overpriced, low grade processed lunch meat, only side available was chips.
If only I would've bothered to look at the reviews first. Severely understaffed, and the staff they do have can't really do anything. They couldn't even slice the bagel. This place needs to go.
Highly priced for mediocre food. Fast food breakfast much cheaper, more filling and tastier. Tried once to see how it was, won’t be trying again though.
Love the food and service.
I haven’t stepped foot in an Einsteins in several years but on a recent Sunday morning decided to give them a try again. The first thing I noticed was there was nowhere to sit inside. One of the employees told me they were in the process of renovating the place but she said the furniture has been gone for over a year and no renovations have been started. I used the women’s restroom before ordering and it was disgusting. After settling on a breakfast garden bagel meal, I watched 6 people behind the counter, 3 of whom were watching a soccer match on a cell phone and one of the employees was munching on his lunch. Whatever happened to an employee break room? The sandwich was a disappointment. The bagel was delicious and soft but the menu said “eggs, avocado, tomato, spinach”. There was one egg not eggs. There was no avocado. There was green smeared on both halves of the bagel but you could not call it avocado since all it did was “color” the bread—there was no actual avocado on the sandwich or any resemblance of an avocado spread on the bread. And of course everything slides off when you take a bite. Based on the uncleanliness, the lackadaisical attitude of the employees and the lack of value for your money I will not be back.
Very disappointed in the Ellisville location. You walk in and immediately feel unwelcome in their cold atmosphere with no furniture. They do not want you to stay. This has become a strictly "to go" operation. No other restaurant in this area has removed their furniture to discourage customers. Today, I ordered on the app so by time I got there (20-25 minute drive) my sandwich would be ready. I got there and waited about 10 minutes. The employee put my order on the shelf, without calling out a name or saying anything. I drove home (now a 45 minute round trip drive) to discover it was made on a plain bagel and I had clearly ordered it on an Everything bagel. I checked the receipt, which also showed an Everything bagel. In a previous visit, I heard a manager tell employees if they are out of the type of bagel a customer orders, to use a plain bagel. No attempt at all to contact me and ask if I would like a different bagel or apologize or anything. They were too lazy to even call out my name when my order was completed, at which time they could have said something about it. It is just not worth the 45-50 minute round trip for breakfast there any more, when you have to eat your sandwich in the parking lot or wait until you get home and eat it lukewarm, only to discover they did not even get the order right. So disappointed. This place has really went down hill and they do not care about customer experience at all. What a waste of my time for a lukewarm sandwich that was not what I ordered and absolutely no interaction of any kind from employees. Way to go Einstein!
Always friendly. Food is great!!
This was a very sad experience. I love einstein's and will plan trips around going to one since they are not around my hometown. There are no tables to sit at while your order is being made, the store ran out of my preferred bagel 2 days in a row (when getting there at 9am), the line and wait to get the food is very slow, and the workers need an extra training on customer service. Overall this was the worst einsteins I've been to thus far.
Great food - service is terribly slow. I’d love to come here more but waiting 30+ minutes for bagels and muffins is ridiculous
Since Einstein's closed their location near to our home, we don't often get a chance to stop at one. Yesterday, I happen to be driving past one of their system locations, so I stopped to get a dozen bagels. Unlike other bagel shops, Einstein's still gives you a baker's dozen ie 13 bagels at a good price. Even better, they have a large selection of different types of bagels, which really allows a well mixed dozen. Even better, instead of running the bagels through a slicing machine which invariably creates a bagel with one thin slice and one thick slice, the woman who took our order cheerfully sliced the bagels by hand which allows them to put toast much more evenly.
They were very busy, but we didn’t have to wait long for our dine in order. Many breakfast bagels, sandwiches and egg meals. Lox bagel, garden bagel were our favorites. Kids enjoyed blueberry bagel and cinnamon swirl. No inside seating but plenty of space outside.
I’d give zero stars if it would let me. I was in the store for 36 minutes before I got my food and left. A SINGULAR BAGEL. No cooked food. No drinks. Not a large order. One. Bagel. They have absolutely zero concept of time management with orders. People who work in restaurants know you can send out super easy/quick orders while more complicated ones cook. I could have gone to ihop, ordered, waited, eaten, and been out in less than the 36 minutes it took me to get a single bagel. One of the most ridiculous experiences of my life. Several people who ordered AFTER me, got their food orders before me. When I very politely asked them to please check on my order, the manager barked @ me.
Excellent Coffee. With a Patio area, I walked from Pathfinder church next door.
