Small, but big on flavor. All 3 of our meals were off-the-grill hot, and super flavorful.

Cute place (not a lot of seating plenty of parking) but the food was soooo good. Breakfast special (1/2 order of Biscuit and gravy, 2 eggs, sausage) and chicken fried steak (biscuit (huge and soft!!), hashbrowns, eggs). All for an amazingly low price.

My wife ordered a patty melt, she said it was Excellent! I ordered fried Catfish plate with fries. hushpuppies & slaw. It was all Excellent! Waitress was nice. Prices were very reasonable too. Will definitely be returning to Shelly's Diner in Cuba Mo.

Had breakfast. The reviews were really good but our food was not. I had biscuits, gravy and sausage. Sausage was watery and biscuit was dry even with gravy.

Well on our way home we stopped in town due to a bad storm .. found this as a high rating on trip advisor ... you won't be sorry if your willing to wait a little bit for your food .. mostly scratch made and very flavorful .. and they help entertain kids too

Perfect "greasy spoon" diner. Authentic Route 66 vibes and decor. Food was really good and cooked well. Small-ish restaurant that was full of patrons. The server was fantastic, friendly, and knew the history of the property and its iterations. No frills food done right.

I can't really give there food a rating because we were ignored while we were there today 1-15-23 at noon time... walked in the 1st time and couldn't get a table so we decided to leave but a nice lady offered us her table because she was leaving... We took her table and never got a greeting or anything from the staff but a local that came in after us got service right away!!! I know it was a local because the staff knew him by name... Sitting here at rich's famous burger restaurant just a few miles down the road enjoying a great great burger called the bacon blue burger and now I'm glad we didn't eat at shelly's route 66 cafe!!!!

Shelly was chef'n it up front and center. The place was hopping! Everything fresh to order and with large portions at a very reasonable price! Outstanding service! People were literally waiting to get a seat! The food and atmosphere is that good! Shelly's goes above and beyond! I true jewel of 66! Thank you Shelly's!!

The best bacon and pancakes but other stuff was just ok. Food took a bit but was freshly cooked. Friendly waitress.
