Really nice employees, and great service! Everyone was so nice, and worked very hard! Very nice place to go with friends and get some great food and coffee. I’m in love with the espresso! Sooo good!

I ordered Lord of the Rings designed cookies for my nieces baby shower from Colleen's, and they were absolutely amazing. They were so adorable no one wanted to eat them at first, haha! If I ever need custom cookies made again we will definitely be ordering from here! Thank you so much for making my nieces baby shower so special.

This was my 1st time here & it was my birthday so it was such a pleasant atmosphere and the young lady at the counter that took our order was extremely professional and accurate with or order. I love tea but the coconut tea that I had with the lavender honey syrup add-on was AMAZING! My sister had the Latte w/the Lavender honey syrup as well. I ordered the Avocado with 2 scrambled eggs and my sister had the turkey but with Buffalo cauliflower. All AMAZINGLY done! We bother we're very impressed and we will definitely make this our regular Sunday morning go to. Be aware that this place gets busy so 1st come 1st serve on seating. There's an outside patio with seating, inside and bar seating.

Delicious vegetable quiche accompanied with a lovely salad & orange slice. The dish was filling but not at all heavy. I thoroughly enjoyed the delicate & tasty crust (not everyone can get that crust just right.) but this one was award winning. Service was pleasant & prompt. Seating available both indoors as well as on the front patio when weather permits. There are plenty of daily & seasonal treats for the takeaway if your tempted or looking for a cool snack to gift someone. What I appreciate about Colleen’s is their participation in Gift A Meal (helping to feed others less fortunate) love this little perk when I visit.

10/10 breakfast, 10/10 cookies & the macrons go to 11! As far as brunch experiences go, this was in my top 5 for STL. They tic all the boxes, bottomless coffee, heavy and light options, pastries that vary in style and flavor, open seating and great staff to take care of you. I tried the southwest skillet, and it’s a pretty hearty meal. The flavor from the egg yolks and chorizo that blends with the roasted potatoes to create a really enjoyable dish. The macrons are also a fantastic choice if you still have room after trying a cookie. Their flavors are on point, and the texture was perfection. Parking can be tough on weekends, so don’t give up if it’s hard to find a spot quickly. It’s worth the wait.

The breakfast was good and the people were friendly! I enjoy working in coffee shops and this fit the bill. There was plenty of seating to where I didn’t feel stressed about keeping a table, I easily found a plug-in to use, and the wifi was fast enough to support video calls. Although the baked goods looked delicious, they were a little overpriced to me ($8 for a brownie?), I couldn’t bring myself to get one this time.

Good but not as good as the reviews seem to indicate. Had the omelette which, for $13 was good but dry. It comes with four or five vegetables, which is good. One slice of toast, which is a little chintzy. And one thin slice of orange which is silly. No potatoes or any other side which most of the competition includes for that price. You can get a single cup of coffee for $3 or a bottomless cup for $4 - which is interesting. But all three cups that I had, tasted very burnt (and I am a BIG Starbucks dark roast fan) which made me unhappy. Ok if you are in the neighborhood.

It was good. Quiche was a bit undercooked but still ok. I would return to try more!!

LOVE this place. Food's outstanding. Staff is friendly. Sometimes it takes a minute, but it's worth it. It's also not cheap, but again, it's worth it. Nice little gem in the WashU area.

Such a fantastic breakfast place! It has a charming neighborhood vibe with exceptional breakfast options, pastries and coffee. Our kids love the biscuits and jam. The Southwest Skillet and bottomless coffee is my personal favorite. If you go, park on the street for easier exit on to Forsyth.

A new favorite breakfast place for me. In love with the skillet dishes. Food is fresh and flavorful. The environment is very much a busy (cute) cafe but there are plenty of seats and the tables are comfortably placed. Bakery items are nice as well... lots of cookie varieties and macarons!

I am in St. Louis visiting from Canada. I was looking for a good coffee shop near my hotel and ran across Colleen's. I was very happy to find out that for their espresso-based drinks they used the type of coffee beans that I love so much but are no longer available for purchase in Canada near my house. I asked if they had bags of beans for sale, and even though they did not, one of the team members, Gretchen, took the time to vaccuum pack some of their beans for me to buy and take home. And that was in addition to the delicious cortado they made for me. Lovely shop. Delicious coffee and superb customer service. If you are in town and you are a coffee lover, don't skip Coleen's!

I really wanted to enjoy this place but was disappointed. I spent $6.00 and change on a half-frozen bagel (I did not want it toasted but was not expecting it to be hard and cold), and a macaron that tasted like refrigerator case. That's all I could taste, was fridge. It took an unusually long time to receive my cold bagel, but there were four staff members standing around chatting behind the counter with their backs turned to me. Everyone raves about this place and I was so excited. Bummer! I couldn't speak to the staff about my food, because my order was carryout.

Came with some associates and got the blt with romaine crunch. The lettuce was red on the edges (everyone knows you're not supposed to use a metal knife on lettuce) and the bacon was so overcooked i struggled to remove the bamboo sandwich stake. Definitely not worth the 16 dollars i regretfully paid for lunch.

I ordered a quiche because I saw it next to the pastries and thought I would just get a piece right away. But I'm glad I waited because I just had the best quiche I've ever had!!! Even the dressing for the salad was delicious!

While the food is great, continued lengthy wait times and permanent “we are short staffed” signs are getting old - we are almost three years into this pandemic and this is no way to run a business and keep customer loyalty. Adding insult to injury: running out of chocolate croissants after we ordered and paid for one. It’s not that hard to hand customers already-prepared items at the time of order. Also, I guess plain croissants now go for $4.50.
