WOW! If you are near Bourbon, MO go directly to Michelle’s Bourbon St Cafe NOW! Amazing doesn’t begin to describe your experience here.. from Dolly, the dog, who greets you to the cozy inviting ambiance to the authentic live music from local talent—they play all day! Michelle’s desserts were voted best in MO! Sadly, they only serve the biscuits and gravy on Sat and Sun, so we will be back in 2 days!! Enjoy!!
Wow! Hidden gem in Bourbon Missouri! Everything's delicious. Gorgeous atmosphere you would expect in a cozy, romantic and charming coffee shop. Has a feel like it's been there for years. Town secret!

Fantastic little cafe. I honestly can't say enough about it (my wife gets a little jealous honestly 😆). Great food with a rotating menu, so if it's not your cup of tea, come back next week and I'm sure you'll love it, like all of Bourbon does!
My husband and I are on our honeymoon, a three month road trip camping through the national parks. We were so blown out of the water by this place. The interior is so welcoming, with tables, chairs and sofas scattered about it feels more like Grandma's house than a Cafe in the best of ways. Michelle, the owner was super sweet, warm and helped us with recommendations. She even gave us detailed instructions to a local hiking spot with an amazing view. We ended up ordering a lot of different items because everything looked and sounded so good. There was also live music, and the musician came over and talked to us, and offered to play some requests since we were newlyweds. This was such a beautiful memory and we might have to make the drive from Virginia just to visit this place again because it would absolutely be worth it!
All I can say is WOW! Great food, amazing service…an inviting atmosphere that makes you want to stay for a while. A little gem right in town. Love that they offer a variety of foods including gluten free options. The live music is great too! Will definitely tell others to stop by and enjoy it as much as my family does.
Food was good, but prices are extremely high. I'm not really fond of a dog living in the restaurant either, but that's just my opinion. Staff is very friendly, but the owner is a bit extreme. The place is also too cluttered for my OCD. Nice to try, but won't be back.
I love this place! Super fun for a lunch date or if you are feeling like drinking coffee on their couch and reading a book.
We have been several times now. The food is amazing and the staff really took good care of us. It's always a good visit.

My first visit was a year ago and my second was today and Michelle and her crew remembered me! Talk about personal service; she asks your name every time. The decadent desserts and creative drinks; you have to try the Sweet Bourbon Brew with locally distilled bourbon, from Bourbon! I plan to bring my family for the gluten free options.
Brilliant all around. Excellent atmosphere, kindest owner, great food, quality coffee and music. An essential stop on the future Trans-Ozark Trail.
I almost don't want to post how amazing this place is because I just want to keep it to myself, but that would be a disservice to the wonderful owner and her delightful staff. Food and baked goods are ALL spectacular. Recommend.
