Meh, second time.. last time. 3 of 4 people's side items were served lukewarm. One of the sides (okra) was re-fried instead of re-cooked.. Country Fried Steak sandwich was good. Catfish (x2) was good. Fried porkchop was good. Shame they can't get the timing right for side items..🤦🏻♂️ Buttermilk pie was good. Coffee was good, but no travel lid? The kid told me I could get a straw by the register. .... For my hot coffee, in styrofoam cup? Got it.. There's a staunch sense of idgaf in this place. Guess you have to be local to like it. 🤷🏻♂️👎🏻👎🏻
Good ole down home cooking. Food is delicious.
Food was hot and good (could use a bit more seasoning). Service was excellent..We will surely be going back during out next West Point visit.
Cupcake had a Great Time there with fellow truckers and Friends
For the quality of the food that was definitely too expensive, this is avarage American diner style fare, nothing to rave about, and 30min wait for food is a bit too long.
We stop here every year on our girl's trip to the gulf. They have good food and friendly service. Margo and Christine are the best waitresses in town.
Great little home town eating place. The wait was a bit long but I had great conversation with who I was dining with. For sure worth a visit.
Wonderful family style restaurant. Service was very friendly and fast. My breakfast was cooked just right! Truck parking is available. Easy to get into and out of!
Must try! Great food!
Atmosphere is nice and so are the staff, but we waited 45 minutes for our food, and it was just okay. I've definitely had better. My wrap was soggy on one side and toasted on the other. My husband loves black eyed peas and he couldn't even eat them.
Fantastic service from Mikki and everyone working two days ago. I stopped in on a road-trip with my grandmother and tried lots of different items. Everything was DELICIOUS! The service was incredible as well and they have amazing desserts to finish off the hot and fresh comfort food they serve. I’m making tin Liz my stop to and from home next road-trip. Worth every dollar spent.
Excellent food . Service was awesome atmosphere was great..Hamburger steak plate was huge ..Pricey but well worth the money.
Someone recommended this restaurant to us on our way to Destin. I'm so glad we stopped. The food was excellent and so was the service. Our waitress (I'm sorry I didn't get her name) was so polite and had the cutest southern accent. The food was excellent my kids (who are NOT easy to impress) commented several times how amazing the food was and that they want to stop again on out way back!! It doesn't look like much and if you blink you'll miss it but turn around!! I promise it's worth the stop!
Really disappointed in the food. Had the plate special..fried squash (hard grease pattys) butter beans …out of a can probably. The yams tasted like sugar water. My salad was ,well a salad of lettuce and cheese. My sisters omelette was bland… Our waitress was very sweet …Crystal Probably won’t eat here again.
Locally owned!!! Great Food and really neat atmosphere!!! The best servers also... It's a must stop if you're coming through West Point
Tacos are decent. Drinks are weak. Don’t recommend coming here on a busy night… service is extremely slow.
Its clean. Service was good. Food was great. Homestyle cooked food. The grilled porkchop was the best I have ever had.
Food was warm, no gease on the plate or on the food. Excellent! Service was great. Immediate seating and served our food in a timely manner.
Ronnie made sure food was perfect and Sam had great suggestions and excellent service! We recommend breakfast (served anytime) and combo of shrimp / chicken Alfredo. Update: Still great 6 years later!
Stopped here twice on a road trip. They have lots of desserts that look delicious but im always too full to try them.. enjoyed the country fried steak with fried okra and Texas toast
