They always suprise me with new flavour.
Twice now have messed up my order. How hard is it to grab the correct donut and put it in a box? Not to mention the donuts tasted over cooked and were very cold. Won’t be back.
Great place for a quick breakfast or snack. Drive through or inside, the staff is always courteous and friendly.
Good quality and quantity which is a plus for the bucks.
If you like thick donuts then you'll like these. I'm not a fan so it was ok. The only reason why it's a 4 is because their coffee and cold brew is really good
I bought some of these filled donuts, and they were terrible!! Awful I mean never have I had a donut to taste or look like these. It tasted like the creme was watered down sugar!!!!!!!!! The donut was large in size, but tasted do---ey (really bad)!!!!!! I paid $9 for these donuts and they were terribly awful!!!!!!!! I'd rather have Krispy Kreme. I will never buy anymore there again.
I have always loved Shipley's. Their donuts are the best, as are their kolaches. They run out of kolaches pretty quickly, so go early! Jalapeno kolache is probably my favorite!
Great donuts but was closed one day, on a Monday
I'm from Houston. I grew up on Shipley's. I just wanted to get some kolaches. 8am on a Saturday and they're out of kolaches and almost out of donuts. Closed on a Monday for no apparent reason. Try again on Tues and they're out of kolaches at 10am. Management at this location doesn't seem to know what they're doing or they're really terrible at estimating how much to make each day and always make too little.
It's JUST okay.. Old building and feels old.. pricing a little high..
The doughnuts just aren't very good anymore. I have gotten donuts from there two different times recently and they taste like they were cooked with old oil, also the new interior is horribly drab. they removed the charming cozy "doughnut store" vibe and made everything gray. Gray floor ceiling and walls + bare walls. It's just not appealing to be in there anymore. Food bad and bad atmosphere.

Imagine getting up wanting a bacon biscuit but following doctor orders. I have hypertension, so I decided to get donuts at Shipley’s. I ordered two donuts, one original and strawberry glazed this was my first time ordering the strawberry donut. I ate the original first and waited to eat the strawberry one later on. I had eaten my dinner, I go to eat my strawberry one afterwards and lord behold I took a bite on some type of metal. I was furious, I tried calling up there to speak with a manager and no one answered. Next day spoke to the black older lady in there, she said no manager was available. She stated she would give them the message and no one has yet to contact me. Imagine if that was a child, a parent would have been highly upset. So, just squeeze your donuts and make sure they’re safe to eat. I simply wanted my money back for my donut!!!

Went to Shipley's in Starkville this morning. Was disappointed as to the lack of donut selections. was out of most donuts. Grandkids wanted chocolate and strawberry sprinkled donuts- didn't have any. So do not know if they were out or had lack of supply issues....
They were closed but they are good. 👍
Good for someone who is on budget. The best is coffee.
