Fun and good food. Try the fruit pop tarts and check out the cactus. Good coffee as well been a couple times now.
This place is so unique and great quality! The donuts were delicious and I really enjoyed the bananas foster latte. The succulents and dried flowers were also stunning, with lots of places to sit and relax. The owner was kind and genuine and the service was top notch. Definitely stop in!!
The desserts are overpriced and the taste was subpar . The cupcakes were cold and basic.
It's his 40th and there's only two of us, and a whole cake is way too big for us both. I've reached out to The Prickly Hippie to see if they could do a small last min strawberry cake, but make it masculine with all his favorite sweets. They were able to squeeze in my order and totally pulled it off!! It's absolutely gorgeous, decadently delicious! He's in dessert heaven.
do yourself a huge favor and go here. The owner/cake artist is entirely too talented and all her creations come from the heart. I recommend: a homemade Peacetart, a maple bacon donut, a gluten-free cupcake, and/or literally anything in there because all of it is happiness. 💖
This adorable shop is definitely a favorite of mine now! The atmosphere is cool and funky, and I loved the vintage themed seating area. The baked goods and coffee drinks were all tasty, too. The associate who helped me was also kind and friendly, so it hits all the marks for me!
Super cute desserts! Stopped in while we waited for our pizza next door. My daughter had the cutest puppy cupcake, and she got the brownie for me. Both were delicious. My daughter also got a bracelet that she absolutely loves. Highly recommend!
My daughters 3rd birthday cake turned out way better than I could have EVER imagined! The owner was so nice! She helped me make decisions I was indecisive about. She completely got my vision and took it exactly where I wanted it to go! My first time using the Prickly hippie will definitely not be the last! The design was on point and so was the flavor. I was completely blown away! Thx for making my daughters 3rd birthday one we Will never forget🥳💖💕
Best place to get coffee and pastries. Pastries are all fresh and sweet as mess
Such pretty and delicious treats.
I really wanted this place to be good. I have tried them twice. The first time I took my family here I was disappointed by the quality of the baked goods. Although very cute, the taste wasn’t there. I thought we would try them again for their Stranger Things themed treats. My daughter got a few desserts and I got a donut and a Frappuccino. My daughter didn’t finish her desserts, which says a lot and I took one bite of my donut. It felt like eating a donut that was made the week before. I was very upset by what we paid versus the quality of the baked goods that we received. Cute desserts are fun, but if you don’t want to eat them.. it’s pointless. My Frappuccino was delicious, though and the girl behind the counter was a peach.
I was delighted with the pastries here. Initially out-of-state when I stumbled across this place online, I vowed to visit it once back in the area. I had the maple bacon donut (it's to die for). My dad had the lemon blueberry PeaceTart and said that it was the best pastry he'd ever had. I have been here twice now and definitely plan on coming back. Make sure to come during a time you have a sweet tooth because the icing on the pastries can be very sweet!
I always stop by for a peace tart (some call them pop tarts) and a cute little gemstone to treat myself any time I’m in the area. On the pricier side for sure but I promise you won’t find this type of quality + taste at any other corporate run bakery!!
The best atmosphere and most CREATIVE FOOD! LOVE THESE LADIES!!
Love this shop. The hostess cupcakes are my new favorite cupcake. Everything always looks great and taste even better. The staff always greets me when I walk in, and even in these times of being understaffed they always have smiles on their faces and go the extra mile.
Great appearance in the show case..... terrible hard and dry cupcakes when I got them home, I guess looks can be deceiving.
Best desserts & most beautiful flowers in town!!
The owner pours her heart and soul into this business; it’s quite evident in the quality of the products. I’ve seen many complain about the prices.. Fellow patrons, if you want cheap, go to the local corporate run donut shop. If you want true art, to support local and unique taste, go to the prickly hip! No, I don’t work there. I’m a huge advocate for small business and for getting what I pay for. I paid in the hundreds for a magical *custom* cake for my daughters birthday two years ago that she still talks about today! The attendees are were floored that a cake could be so pretty and taste so good. They were accustomed to pretty cakes tasting like bitter fondant. Not PH cakes! You pay more but for the quality, beauty, and taste! If you can get that at your normal run of the mill bakery, go ahead, but as for my family and I, we are 100% loyal to the PH!
Ordered a special birthday cake for my wife and the experience was great and the final product was beautiful and DELICIOUS. Ordering a cake can be pricey, but there are pre-prepared cakes in store available to first-come.
Very quaint shop that sells cacti and espresso and desserts. We had the coffee, cookie and homemade apple pie pumpkin spice poptart. The poptart stole the show. We will be back.
