Very nice surprise. Food was excellent
Excellent service and hospitality! Salads and cocktails were delicious!
Was really disappointed by the kitchen deliberately making my order wrong because they didn’t want substitutions despite having not communicated that to the waitress. This place is weirdly obsessed with serving poached eggs only, no clue why. Do not recommend. Also, very little parking and the parking her has big potholes for some reason?? It was more important to not change the eggs than to just serve me the food I ordered, so next time I want something in the morning to eat I’m just going to primos. They will make the food right and not make me wait an addition 45 minutes. Nor will they screw with me. Just yikes, man.
We loved this restaurant! It was our first time and it was a delightful experience. The atmosphere is slightly nostalgic but unique and not overdone. It's comfortable and pleasant. Surprisingly affordable for the experience and delicious food. We didn't have to wait to sit or receive our food even though it was quite busy. The food was high quality. I would definitely recommend it. Wish I had found it sooner!
Delish, great service and cute ambience!
A friend of mine and I visited this last Saturday ,the food was great! I had not been to this restaurant in many years, yet it has not lost its charm! We started off our meals with a salad, I ordered the Caesar and my friend ordered the house. They were very fresh but I needed more dressing. Next was our entrees. My friend ordered the pork loin with Creole seasoning, shrimp, and crawfish. It was superb and plentiful. I got the chicken alfredo and added shrimp. I like my food with a little kick and thought I would have to get some red pepper flakes, but the pasta was seasoned perfectly 🥰 As the neighboring table had libations brought to then I saw a drink that caught my eye. I asked the bartender what it was and could he make a similar drink, but with pineapple juice... no problem. As with everything else, it was delicious 😋 We were almost too full for dessert, but we got some anyway. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake, which came with an Oreo crust. This was the only thing that I didn't particularly care for. The juice from the strawberry made the crust soggy, and the strawberry topping was not sweet, in my opinion. My friend loved it. I decided to get another dessert, the strawberry Key Lime pie. Now, this was a seriously scrumptious pie! Perfectly tart and sweet with homemade whipped cream 😋 All in all, this restaurant receives a 5 out of 5. Dee, the manager in duty, was helping out in whatever capacity that was needed. She was ultra nice and genuinely concerned if we enjoyed our meal. The wait staff all worked like a fine oiled machine. They worked together to make sure every patron got their food in a timely fashion. I am very picky when it comes to eating out and expect stellar service when I do dine out! Kiss 💋 the cooks and many thanks to the entire staff...run don't walk to Strawberry Café! Even the water is good!
This place is excellent! I highly recommend brunch and the crab cakes Benedict are fantastic. My dining companion had the Cajun Pork Loin and it was equally as tasty. The sauce on that pork loin was to die for! I can’t wait to go back.
I love going to this place wonderful people and fantastic service ❤
I'm very surprised that this place has so many good reviews. My experience was anything but. Starting with the fact that few people, including myself, ended up sick after. From the start, the server appeared to be intoxicated. Every single time she brought something out, things were spilled or dropped. Drinks were sugar syrups. Appetizers were ok. The food was well... pools of oil and shrimp dishes with shrimp that were not cleaned at all (still had digestive veins, aka poop).
The fish was gray in color the vegetables were good
The service and food are both wonderful! Been here for brunch and for lunch and I had a great experience at both! Love the drinks too! Especially the brunch champagne flutes!
Quaint spot to meet and enjoy food and friends. We had a variety of their selection and the only disappointment, if you can call it that, was the red beans and rice entrée; served without cornbread! Who does that in the south?? However, I did finish it! Could also have used a bit more kick. Parking is a bit tight, so use the overflow out back and don't be discouraged thinking the place is full. We'll be back.
Very settling and Great service. The food was very good.
Love this restaurant. Great service and the food has never disappointed.
Our first time coming here. Our waitress Jenny was super nice and the food was great. We definitely will be back. Keep Jenny around . 🤗
Nice people and good service, but with a price. Expect $15-20 per person for brunch and coffee.
Brunch was amazing. Best meal I’ve had in weeks Seems like you should go on the later side to avoid the crowd.
My wife an I eat there at least once a week, and have always enjoyed the food, atmosphere, service and drinks. The drinks, however, seem to be watered down. I always order a certain bourbon on the rocks, and it seems that they are adding water to make the bourbon go further. I have ordered a more expensive bourbon and it wasn’t watered down, until our visit last night. They were both extremely watered down, and for the price charged it’s totally not acceptable.
Great place to sit an eat. Staff was friendly. Our server showed a great ability to multi-task even with a demanding 4 year old at the table. Will definitely be back.
man , oh man .. was not expecting such a great atmosphere. AMAZING . Definitely coming back again soon !
