The oldest juke joint in the USA. That's right! And, if you are lucky, you may actually see the blues legend himself play guitar. A step into history, there's no place like home, there's no place like home...(Love )

I found a photo of this establishment while staying in an Airbnb in Benevento, Italy. I am pleased to see that you are still in business and hope one day to visit. Hello from the other side of the world!

My wife and I stopped in a couple weeks ago hoping to meet the legend himself, and take in the iconic Blue Front Cafe. We were lucky enough to spend a couple hours talking to Jimmy and his brother. Wow, what kind and gracious men. We drank a few beers, smiled, and laughed and talked some blues. A memory that will last forever, thank you both for spending some time with us.

Quelques accords de guitare à l’intérieur d’un “temple” hors du temps et Mr Duck Holmes qui nous reçoit et nous parle de son Grammy award : rencontre surréaliste !

I didn't order any food. However, the atmosphere and service was a very welcoming, friendly & true to the Mississippi juke joint culture. I loved it.

The restaurant was not open but there was a band sitting in front. Getting ready to play. I don't think anyone is working restaurant these days. It's just a landmark

Part of me doesn’t want to give up this secret because I loved how untouched it was, but you guys deserve the love so… I felt I had finally walked in to the real life of the USA. By then, as much as I loved the 10 states I’d visited before, I couldn’t help pretending that I’d finally found what ‘murika’ was about. This was the most beautiful, welcoming, and down to earth place, shared so many jokes and history a little part of my heart will never be the same. Trust me, true American spirit here! 🇺🇸 Met the coolest people And so underestimated- I’m 36 and life has taught me, this is always place you want to be. I will be back ❤️

I missed out on music but had a lovely time talking to staff. Sweet home feel to the place with locals hanging out. Fried chicken and potato wedges were great. Hope to come back on a day that has music

[Friday, 25-Feb-2022 review] Stopped at the Blue Front today and had a nice chat with Jimmie, picked up a copy of Cypress Grove and a delicious to go order of chili with crackers. You’ll never go wrong at Jimmie’s place. Go.
