Love this place ALWAYS stop for pie
Betty's pies in the north shore may be more famous, but it has nothing on this place. Delicious fresh from scratch pies that cannot be beat.
Best pies ever! Genuinely from scratch and worth every Penny. Perfect access from the trail or by vehicle in a cute village.
Mouth watering pie! Worth the wait to stop.
Rarely do I enjoy pie. However, traveling through the beautiful countryside and happen upon this little jewel of a shoppe. So many pie choices, amazing! However, it was the Cashew Chocolate Pie which stole my heart, and my tastebuds!
A little pricey but good.
Pie was delicious and the restaurant was clean but waited in line for 45 minutes to get a slice of pie because there were families ordering complete meals at 3 in the afternoon and no separate line for the folks who came for pie.
This has been a bicyclist's favorite for decades. I stopped in to pick up a few slices for some friends who had to leave early and they didn't disappoint. In an age of Quiet Quitters (doing the minimum), the employees behind this counter are the opposite. Polite, smart, busy. Good work and thank you. That was quite the rush of people.
Great apple pie. But very pricey
Super busy, staff was pretty overwhelmed, ran out of pie and closed the door on some customers. The people who got served seem to enjoy their pie even after standing in line outside in the sun.
The best pie in Minnesota
They have gluten-free coffee, but no gluten-free pies. Very busy place. Kids liked the cream-style pies.
A must stop! Amazing pie and ice cream. Lemonade was nice and tart. Wonderful break from the bike trail!
The pie never disappoints and a cute little stop on the bike trail. They also have ice cream!
Hubby loved the pie varieties he had: sour cream raisin, coconut cream, Minnesota maple, fresh strawberry. Even went back the next day for a whole blueberry pie (ordered the previous day).
Too pricy! Not a big selection.probably wouldn't go there again.
They have delicious sandwiches, too!
Our first short ride out of Lanesboro is always to Whalan and the Aroma Pie Shop! We have a pie quota - a slice a day - and with such unique variety we are never disappointed! This year it was the blackberry peach and the chocolate cashew, then another day peach and coconut cream. Ala mode in the heat helps too. If you want a take home version of anything be sure to order in advance - $30 each but a great home treat
Super nice people who run the place. Pie was yummy!! I had rhubarb strawberry
Great strawberry rhubarb pie
