Hands down the most comically overpriced grocery store I've ever been to all things considered. Kowalskis in Excelsior is a steal by comparison. As of late May 2023 they are charging $27/lb for cheap Choice cuts of Ribeye. That is criminal. At Kowalskis they are charging $28/lb for 40-day aged PRIME ribeye. They also had cans of Celsius at $3.49. You can go across the street to Holiday and get 2 for $4. Don't shop here unless you like being price gouged.

Hot food selection is a bit truncated due to store size when compared to other L&B stores, but other than that great local grocery store.

*Update edit* I wanted to bump this review up to a three star as I'm still not entirely impressed with the attitudes of at least 60% of the employees (yes I have worked in a grocery store, it sucks, but being rude isn't going to make it better). I do want to raise it from a one star because the service has been better recently and I do like going here for the deli soup, especially the ham and wild rice, however another part of it being only three stars is that they haven't had their signature ham and wild rice soup on the deli in over a year. I don't usually shop here, but with recent road construction I've dropped in a few times because it's the easiest to get to for now. As a former employee of this same store, I'm not impressed with the attitude of the employees; the few times I wasn't ignored entirely I was sneered at or rudely spoken to.

we are a busy family of 6, so we tried lunds & byerlys order online and pickup in store. when we arrived for our grocery pickup last thursday they tried to give us the wrong groceries, having apparently given my $200 worth of groceries to another car. i understand that mistakes happen, and the people i've spoken to at the store have been trying to make this right, but it is now 3 business days and i still have not received my refund. i was just informed by the store that their "call center" is behind and will process my refund when they get to it (?), but it may be another 3 business days from today? that would put me at a week with no refund. it's 2022. it's atrocious that refunds aren't instanteous and there's nothing the store can do to make this right.

I understand the location we're in, but the price gouging here is just unnecessary. For example, Oscar Meyer bacon is still $11.99 here, but in other nearby stores it's back down to $7.99. Why? It's ridiculous and it's even more ridiculous that we continue to shop here.

Someone went in front of me in line and the cashier (younger tall guy with brown hair) saw me standing there waiting and was still gana attend him first and laughed/smirked about it like seriously this is the kind of people you hire!? He didn’t even say a word which as an employee you should ask questions like who was there first ect not just stay silent and smirk. If it wasn’t for the other customer who went in front of me that said I was there first the cashier would have totally checked him out before me . Don’t want to come here anymore for that dumb costumer service experience I had.

worst covid-19 store plan ever. A check out lane that spans half way through the storee and takes 45 minutes. I dropped my groceries and walked out. With the money this community had given them you would think they could do better.

Had added a few things to my cart on the assumption I could sign up for the rewards program, while in the checkout line. This was not the case, and ended paying full price instead :( Managment - please revise your process for rewards, or risk making customers feel uncomfortable and misled.
