If you love a quiet room with Little house on the prairie chatter than this is the place for you. I got a bacon cheese burger, and it tasted like Mom made it...A must go if you're in Walnut Grove, MN.

A real Gem. I drove from Marshall to have a good breakfast and was thoroughly pleased with Nellie's. The food was excellent and the owners were so friendly and welcoming. Do yourself a favor and have a good home cooked meal served with a bright smile.

Love Nellies Cafe. The waitresses were friendly and the food was excellent. freshly made and piping hot. Enjoyed looking at all the signed pictures on the wall from the cast of Little House on the prairie.

Nothing fancy but you can't go to the Little House Museum without having lunch...right? Owner is absolutely delightful.

Great small town café ,I left my coat in another restaurant the night before. When I walked in the door customers recognized me ,said they saw my coat after I left so they hung it up. Then another lady walks in and they said she cleans that restaurant and has a key ,next thing I knew she walks in with my coat. Small town great people .Nellies Dinner I felt like I was in an episode of little house on the prairie. Walnut Grove Mn.

I wouldn’t call this a ‘mom and pop’ place. Given the history of the area and the fact that every star of ‘Little House On The Prairie’ appears to have visited over the years, I guess I would call it a ‘ma and pa’ place. Nice visit, nice people.

Great little cafe! Staff was very friendly, it was very clean, and the food was great! We stopped here after visiting the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum, because our kids insisted we go to Nellies to have the “full experience”.

Nice hole in the wall joint. Good cafe food, despite a limited menu. Bathrooms could use some work as they were very dirty and smelly.
